Letting of Steam

So two weeks ago today when the Yu-Gi-Oh set The Secret Forces came out I purchased the necessary cards to make a Yosenju deck and everything has come except for 1 Mayosenju Daibak (they really need to work on making tcgplayer direct a thing for Yu-Gi-Oh as well) which at the time cost $16, and now 2 weeks later their only response has been "You should have received it by now. Just wait until Monday and let me know please." Admittedly it's all you can really do once the USPS sinks there teeth into something (way to get delivery confirmation supposedly reputable dealer), but come on they could have at least tried to sound concerned. Now I'm not too terribly concerned because tcgplayer will stomp on some throats if need be, but I am ticked that unless they step up and send a new one (which they should but won't) I'll get a $16 refund to replace a now $25~ card.

Anyway that's my story

P.S. It could be weather as I am in Michigan and it's coming from Georgia, but I have my doubts as plenty of cards have found there way to me including an order coming out of Florida that was even ordered at a later date.

I'm an Australian, so I'm used to waiting up to a month.

Once you get to 3 weeks, start complaining. But it's just a $16 card, nothing insane like an ABUR dual.

It's not so much the $16 as it is the principle but you're right and I can deal with it I just wish we lived in a world where people were more promt.

If it was sent USPS, its probably not the dealers fault, besides not supplying a warranty, or whatever it is called can't think of the right word right now, and that may not even be completely there responsibility. USPS "loses" a lot of packages that they have. That's why I stopped sending USPS because of this reason. Sorry about your card. :(

Why even play that deck when you can just drop a few Dantes and finish the game that turn?

Or play magic, the better game.

Agreed with vampirelazarus.

I work for a wholesale flooring store that receives a large part of inventory and goods from Georgia and Virgina. We've been promised goods earlier in the week only to be delayed to today and even next week, due to the 'severe weather' they've experienced. That is, a bit of ice and snow that they aren't used to being south of the Mason Dixon.

Hope this offers a bit of clarity to your current situation, and alleviates some anxiety.

@vampirelazarus @aeonstoremyliver Please don't start the Yu-Gi-Oh VS Magic argument.

@jandrobard, you're posting on a MTG site... Missed the humor and sarcasm, bro.

Regardless, my post was primarily directed at helping your situation.

This is a Magic site. I'll recommend playing Magic to everyone on here.

You know, since this isn't a yugioh site.

Telling me to play magic is pointless as I obviously play both ergo I already play magic.

Thanks for the info aeonstoremyliver

And bigguy99 I don't like playing more competitive decks I just play what tickles my fancy
