Looking for Online Multiplayer FPS on PC (With little/no cheaters)

So my history with online FPS games is pretty short: Counterstrike -> Modern Warfare 3 (Full of Cheaters) -> Counterstrike GO (Horrible).

Now I like how CS had a fairly low amount of cheaters, and players could easily set up their own servers and game modes such as DnD, Surf, Glass Maps and Zombies. Still the game is old and the base is dwindling.

MW3 is fun if not a little ridiculous at times with kill streaks. Unfortunately the number of cheaters is too damn high! Aside from the 1-5 blatant cheaters I run into every day in a 5 hour time span there are the players who really know how to hide their use of AimBot type cheats.

CS:GO really messed up IMO when they decided not to follow the standard R-Click to Aim which improves accuracy and instead gave every weapon insane accuracy and tight grouping even when you are hip firing.

So does anybody have recommendations for a fun multiplayer FPS that's level of seriousness/goofiness is between MW3 and original CS?

If all else fails I'll just download the latest Fallout...

Yeah I just realized the steam sale is going on. I'm checking out the videos and screenshots now. So far the only thing I've heard that's bad/different is the menu system. Long as I can get Headshots with a Sniper or solid Rifle I will enjoy it.

I've been playing a lot of rainbow 6 siege recently. It's super fun, the community isn't toxic, and there's little to no cheaters.
