Let's just say somehow, Garruk happens to accidentally planeswalk to the Yu-Gi-Oh Universe, and runs into Obelisk the Tormentor. Who do you all think would win this epic shown. (Please, no criticism, I realize they're both from completely different games, I'm just curious who you all think is stronger.)

I look at the god cards like you would look at the big 3 eldrazi. It would take a team of planeswalkers

Well, Yawgmoth would probably give them a good floor wiping or two.
Though I guess he's not technically a planeswalker.

Emakrul vs Ra? That is a fight I would pay to see.
Although pre-awakening walkers were on even terms with the gods iirc

Why not the Magic "Gods" from Theros versus the Egyptian Gods or Sacred Beasts from Yu-Gi-Oh, rather than the planeswalkers? Who wouldn't want to see Slifer The Sky Dragon have a guitar battle against Mogis, God of Slaughter . That would e totally freaking metal!

I'd have to compare the Gods to the Eldrazi, and therefore they would take multiple planeswalkers to completely overcome. However, there's no way in hell any of the Egyptian Gods are taking down Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . They simply cannot harness the pure power of fifteen flying squirrels.
I feel like tagging fluffybunnypants is the right thing to do. This thread's got some funny shit.

...how did the squirrels block? Emrakul, the Aeons Torn has flying, right?

Levitation ? Does it matter? They're goddamn flying squirrels.

It matters to Emrakul, the Aeons Torn . If he was so ashamed of losing to squirrels, he at least needs to know the truth of how he was defeated before his sad, lonely, pathetic death at the claws of those furry tree-scamperers of ginger hate.

I'd be more concerned about Emrakul, the Aeons Torn being completely helpless against a common spider. With no enhancements or anything.
He better be concerned, because Deadly Recluse is da FREAKING BOSS OF AWWL.

All 3 of them; still more usable than an art degree.

well being someone who has played both games...and dismissing game play differences...i think the only planeswalker that could maybe handle taking on "gods" would be our resident dragon Bolas...maybe Ugin if he were alive...(correct me if im wrong ive been out of yu-gi-oh for awhile...) but storyline wise the original gods could only be commanded by the pharaoh which just showed the amount power behind them.
