Hey you guys, I went to a flea market and picked up an original copy of "Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon" on vinyl. I see copies runningon eBay for anywhere between $300 and $2k, $300 being for a copy that doesn't play right.
My copy is a little staticy, but other than that, it plays great. If I were to ask for $500, would you guys think that's an appropriate price?
Also, does anyone want to buy it off of me? Feel free to make your offers in the comments.
Thanks for your time guys!
You need to determine which edition the pressing is. There's a way to tell but I'm not sure exactly what it is. Essentially records have editions like magic, and the earlier the edition, the more it's worth. Sort of like magic. You need to verify which edition you have. I think the original pressing of dark side was just a black jacket with no art but I can't quite remember.

Oh yeah. Is the triangle on the disk solid blue or is it black?

I dont know where you were seeing 2 grand for one
Edition is the main thing but what kinda condition is the record/cover in (any scratches/ bends?) Do you have the posters/stickers that came with the record?

ChiefBell It's a black triangle on the record, and the cover is the prism.
McSleuthburger No posters, no bends, 1 or 2 scratches but no scratches that interfere with the playing.
shadow63 $350? or $3.50?

Holy crap, I have three copies of that album! Doooood.
I have a friend that runs a record store. There's a website he uses (of course I forget the name of it, but Google is a thing) to price them out, much like TCG Player with edition, condition, etc.

The first pressing of dark side has a solid blue triangle on the record. Later pressings have a black triangle on the record.
