Why can't I see why kids love cinnamon toast crunch?

And am I allowed to be this drunk right now?

TelleoStar have you tried angry orchard green apple?!

It tastes like alcoholic, liquid, jolly ranchers, of the green apple variety.

I don't personally drink, but my first drink was bud light when I was 13. My step dad always gave me a can when he had his friends over for parties. I would normally just give it to my older brother.

I'm also addicted to fish fingers and custard, if we're still on that subject.

I normally drink scotch, bourbon, porters, or stouts.

I also have a tequila that I infuse with ghost peppers, and I've been known to drink that neat. Same with Jaegermeister, minus the pepper.

Fish fingers and custard? You smelly man.

We have similar tastes, 'Poch. Though I don't drink much scotch, just mostly bourbon and brandy. But I love a good stout. What's your guys' favorite beer you've tried, and was it on tap or from a bottle? A good pint of Buffalo Sweat oatmeal stout on tap is like dessert in a glass.

Wow this thread went everywhere.

The sobriety train made it back to the station, safe and sound. This was hilarious to read today, I promise to continue posting while drunk in the future.

My wife brews beer actually. She has a Honey Amber and what we've taken to calling Gimpess (guinness with a limp) stout that are particularly nice. She has a problem with keeping the alcohol levels low so they average 7.5% but hey.

Your wife sounds awesome, Ohthenoises. She brews strong beer, hold onto that one.

Oddly enough I don't drink overmuch. I'm not a fan of bitter flavors and a such I steer away from beers. I stick to ciders and hard liquor since those usually have a sweeter flavor that my palate can enjoy.

She brews for herself and right now she's pregnant so we have 2 untapped home brew kegs in the basement currently....

I can easily take those off your hands.

Yeah, mind if The Doctor and I stop by in the Tardis to grab those? Then we can travel back to prohibition and make a killing! Or, y'know, just drink it.

I can see that you all aren't willing to entertain my criticism, and I'm sorry to be an asshole and shit all over whatever this was, but I'll still stand by what I said and keep this post short. Considering your retorts at this point are comments like "get some perspective," which honestly just ends an argument since there's no way to comment on that, I feel like nothing has been accomplished. @Ohthenoises, while I appreciate the fact that your last reply was reasonable, it does seem inconsiderate to me for you to talk poorly about me/my actions without actually speaking to me. I've recently been taken to the idea that, if you have a problem with someone or something, let them know; which also was the reasoning behind my initial comment on this thread. I also am not really sure where you saw a "moral high ground" in my comments, but whatever, I'll believe you.

I'll leave this thread for you guys now, but that's just out of consideration, and know that I still think a lot (not all) of the community is bullshit here.

Your criticism is/was unwarranted and misplaced. If you don't like the community, fine, no one is making you sit here and listen to us and no one wants to hear your negativity on a site that for the most part has a WONDERFUL, helpful, cheery online community. I welcome you to change your perspective or seek more private, individual answers to your qualms, or find a site more accustomed to your need for attention.

Ohthenoises, YES THATS LIKE MY FAVORITE CIDER. But ritually. I tried to type "seriously" instead of "ritually" but my tablet autocorrected it, and I think it's more appropriate to the way I drink my cider.

I also drink white wines, and rum. Most because I can say rum and then segue smoothly into how I feel about rum, which is yum. Or the other way around. Rum yum. Yum rum. Whichever. :)

@CrazyLittleGuy: If you have a problem with a thread, you can do 1 of 2 things in the future. a) ignore it and move on, or b) State what you dislike in a respectful manner. The problems going on here aren't a result of your discontent with the thread, they are a result of your unwarranted rudeness. Im glad to hear that you are willing to leave the subject alone now, but for future reference, try to be less rude when you have a problem. I think you will find that people are much more willing to accept criticism when it is received in a polite manner

I used to drink an abominable amount of rum, and therefore cannot stomach it like I once could. I try and stay away from sugary drinks like cider and the like, though I have a friend that brews a mean apple cider with everclear.

It's all about the Johnny Walker Black for me, gents. Bourbons and IPAs strike my fancy too.

Tequila makes me forget everything...instantly. I don't have an explanation for it, because outside of that particular spirit, I hold my liquor serviceably. But Tequila takes me to blackout city. I vaguely recall repainting my dorm hall in a lovely shade of vomit when I was 18.

TL;DR: I learned a lot in college.
