I'm in the process of installing Smite on my laptop. Has anyone played it? Is it as good as I've heard it is? I've seen tons of gameplay when it was still in beta and it looks really fun.

It's alright, Hi-Rez isn't an incredible company, and despite the fact it's free, it's basically $30 because that gives you all the gods. Hi-Rez is worse than Blizzard at balancing things, and constantly need to rework gods so they can be fair, as well as a bunch of other issues. Gameplay wise it's not as good as league, but it is still fun. 6-7/10 in m opinion. Mostly because Hi-Rez are lame :(.

Clearly DOTA 2 is the best MOBA. Unless your goal is to have fun. In that case you should look elsewhere.

I already have DOTA2 as well as Strife, which I just downloaded. Haven't started playing it yet.

It's ok. I got into it for a few days, realized I was terrible, then went back to hitting people with ham. I like Dota better, but I have very little experience with either so take it with a grain of salt.

My friends play it when they're bored of League. It's pretty much the same, but not as intricate. I've never tried it, but they seem to like it as an occasional alternative. Always go back to League though.
