Static-X: the 20th Anniversary

This year is the 20th anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip, the debut album by American heavy metal band Static-X, who were a part of the wave of alternative metal and nu metal bands who emerged during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s (although I personally believe that the term “industrial metal” is the best term to describe them). What they lacked in subtlety and melody, they made up for with their ferocity and brutality, a fitting way to strike back at the grunge and alternative rock that had dominated the music scene for much of the preceding decade.
I was in my early adolescence when Static-X began their career, just finishing middle school and about to start high school, so I was in the ideal audience for their music. I found much greater appeal in the music of Static-X than I did in that of Korn, Slipknot, or Drowning Pool, and I would say that Static-X and System of a Down are my two favorite bands from that time period (although Disturbed and Godsmack are also quite excellent). Since I graduated from high school, I have become much more fond of traditional hard rock and heavy metal (i.e., music from the 1970’s and 80’s, such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and so forth), but I do still enjoy Static-X’s music, and I currently own their first three albums, and I am deliberating purchasing their fourth.
I can hardly believe that it has been twenty years since Static-X began their career (and five years since Wayne Static died), since I can still remember when I heard their music for the first time; I certainly feel old, now.
What does everyone else say about this? What are your thoughts about this year being the 20th anniversary of Static-X?
They just fill such a unique space that no one even comes close to from the music I know. They had such a raw and unfiltered sound. Not a huge fan but they have my respect. I was hoping theyed do a tour stop near me for the 20th anniversary tour but there aren't any that are close.
