So, I ordered a near mint Underground Sea for a pretty good price, $200. Unfortunately, the seller didn't package it right, and somehow a small hole (the size of a thumbtack) got punched in the middle of the card. Other than that, its beautiful, mint condition. I just feel soooooo shitty seeing a beautiful card ruined like that.
Are you going to contact the seller about what happened? Maybe you can return it for a refund and get another one.

Yeah I already contacted him. I'm sure I'll be able to get a refund. It just sucks. I mean the card is literally flawless. No border wear, scratching, nothing. Its really just depressing.

Yeah, that sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get your hands on another one of the same quality, just without the hole in the middle.

Wow, that is terrible. I nearly punched the guy who Cheeto-Fingered my Tropical Island, and that stuff at least comes off with elbow grease. :(

Yeah, I guess I just wanted to send out a PSA to everybody who mails cards. Always put them in a hard plastic top loader. Especially if they're ABUR duals.

I just died a little on the inside. As a TCG Seller myself, I feel that that guy needs to receive swift and unjust punishment for his heinous crimes. Why would you not ship properly, especially with something so expensive?
Also, just looked at the MTGGore subreddit, am currently vomiting. That is... *Shudder

Rest in peace. Who was found guilty of the stabbing? Some under-entertained delivery service guy? Why was the card stabbed in the first place?

This is part of the reason why A.) I've bought all of my ABUR dual lands (read: all three) in person and B.) I haven't bought an ABUR Dual that taps for mana.

Was there a tack hole through the envelope as well? Or do you think it was there before it was shipped? Just curious.

There were holes in the envelope too. I have no idea how it happened, but someone at USPS is an idiot.

@kmcree Wow, I am not even sure how that would even happen. I feel for you. Hope you get it resolved.

Yeah, the seller responded to my request, and I'll be returning it for a full refund. I honestly just feel bad for him. He obviously made the mistake of not packing the card in a top loader, but its shitty that he lost that value.

It was probably a machine issue. They put mail though machined rollers if your envelope is flexible and you don't write something to the effect of "do not bend" on it.

That's actually awful though, it makes me so sad when valuable cards are destroyed
