Alright, I challenge you each to make decks corresponding to the shards of Alara (Bant, Naya, Jund, Grixis, and Esper).
The rules are:
- You may only submit one deck for each shard, but may submit for as many shards as you want.
- You may only use cards from the Alara block (Shards of Alara, Conflux, and Alara Reborn).
- You may not use planeswalkers.
I hope you all go out and have some fun with this! Let the games begin!

No, as long as you CAN pay for it using the shard's colors, it's O.K. I, for instance, use Trace of Abundance in my Shards series Jund deck.

It doesn't have to be Jund, it can be any shard. Why do you assume Jund decks would win?

Jund was a high tier deck in block and standard when alara was legal.

@ Rabidsquirrel99: I think your Bant deck is private. The link still doesn't work for me, and it wasn't in your list of decks, so that's might be the issue. Also, your grixis fun deck is Jund, just saying...

First off, I would like to announce that I will not actually begin the competition yet, as I will be away for the next one to two weeks, and will probably not have internet access. Also, there is not a deck for each shard yet, and I REALLY don't want the winner for a certain shard to be "nothing".
Now on to announcements!
@ Rabidsquirrel99: Thank you for unprivating that.
@ borosgruul2: Which deck is it? You have several Jund decks on your page, and I can't tell which one it is. A link to the deck itself would be very much appreciated.
@ Nobilior: Why not make more decks yourself? You will make a more diverse competition, as well as giving yourself a greater chance of winning.

As the situation stands, I will not be able to actually test these, as I only have Jund, Bant, and Esper decks.

Dammit! I thought this was still going on and I made the deck. Whatever, here it is if anyone cares. Esper Artifacts.

Do the cards have to be exclusively the colors of the shard? I.e. can you use Bant Sureblade in a Naya deck?
