Commander Versus Article

Hi all!

I remember reading the old articles of showdowns between two Standard decks, with detailed play-by-play descriptions of the game, and analysis by the players afterwards. It always seemed like a lot of fun, and I enjoyed learning about different decks. There's just one problem- I don't play standard.

I'm here asking a few things. First, would anyone be interested in reading a similar article series of commander decks? My current thought is that ideally, I'd collect three other people, and run a 4-player game via Untap or some other system, using user-submitted decks. Because of the time involved in each commander game, and the knowledge of each deck necessary to be an effective pilot, I'd likely try to do this monthly, and the article would certainly be no more frequent than biweekly editions.

Second, would anyone be interested in helping me run the series? Ideally, like I said, it would be me and three others, but a one on one would be acceptable too.

Third, does the community have any other input they'd like to share? Would you like a point system to rate decks that perform well, but maybe got an unlucky matchup? Would you like any common house rules added? Etc.

I know that GoldGhost012 was doing a series like this for a while. An example of which is seen here.

I don't know what he plans on doing with that. I'm pretty sure he has been busy. Paging Ghost for more info.

I'm up for it if possible. Sounds like a great idea!

I would probably be down. I could maybe help run it too, if you need people.
