You're a pro at drafts. Been here, done this. Can we start drafting Theros yet? This RTR-block stuff is for the birds. First pack hasn't even opened and you know you're gonna force Brozhov and dominate, like a boss. You bust out your DS with a new "special" card in it that lets you play old emulated games on it. The old lady who sold it said something about powerful spirits...
You open your first pack with one hand while the other plays Mega Man 2. Easy pickings, you figure, since you're so pro at both things. Flash Man on screen, so easy to beat with that Metal Blade. 'Just pick my card while time is frozen in-game,' you think to yourself. Easy! Pulling out your cards, you see the obvious choice isSuddenly you're opening pack 2, looking at the second set of cards you'll pick your weapons of mass destruction from, and clearly the choice will have to beThird pack now, not so easy this time, gotta make sure you get the right thing or the deck just won't have that same winning edgeAnd now it's time to build your deck. Wait, what?
You turn off the voodoo hexed DS and look at your expertly-selected pile. Wait, what happened?? This isn't good stuff at all? Why, a draft-bot could have picked these cards! What's going on? Judge! ....The judge intones that you could be a little less rude to the other drafters, while also indicating that he watched you pick every single card in your pile. Well, what gives? These clearly can't be your boss picks. What do you think, though? It's a rare opportunity for a challenge... do you ragequit and storm out, or do you have what it takes to Make the Best of It?
Once more, it's time to see what stupid nonsense is presented and how best to cobble together some victory, here at the jaws of defeat. Your cards, o time-frozen swami of selection:

This is my version of Making the best of it.

I decided to keep Varolz, the Scar-Striped . There is plenty of fixing for him to stay.

Hated to let varolz go, but there just wasn't enough support in green for my taste. If I took varloz, then my splash colours would have been G/B and red is just better because of mercurial chemister
