Hey there,
I recently added some code so you could pre-date your articles and they will release on the given date and time in the future.
Please use this feature if your post is going to come right on top of someone else's and bump it. I am trying to regulate the article section so people get used to a nice steady stream of articles...rather a whole slew at a time and none for a while.
Also, that way all articles get a fair share of time on the front page.
No, you can post it whenever you like just be mindful of other people's posts. If two articles were just written, post-date your third article a few days.

Hello! i recently acquired a vintage 1997 World Championship Incinerate from my local shop (They sell various cards in varying conditions in binders) and i was wondering how much would they fetch for? (It's in relatively good condition.)

I'm not quite sure what printing you mean. There is no World Championship Incinerate (as far as I know). The closest printings are the Legend Membership, MPR, and Deckmasters printings.
Regardless, none of those editions are very valuable. The Legend Membership and foil Deckmasters editions might fetch $3-4, and the MPR printing goes for about $2.

It was the 1997 World Championship Edition. and mine had the name of the player written near the area where the expansion symbol should have been in a kind of gold Metellic pen-like ink.

That's really strange. I didn't even know that existed until now.
Your card is worth a neat 50 cents.

Wow, just a 10-cent increase. I think I'll just keep it, it looks cool with the borders and the back.

They aren't worth much. Originally they were sold in a 2 deck set. Both decks were copies of the championship match decks. Some of the singles were also put in magazines like Scry and Inquest. As stated in the pic you linked, they are not tournament legal so that really drops the value. I have Force of Will and Hammer of Bogardan last I looked they were only worth a couple of dollars.

Wish i had a Force of Will , I could get an artist an make it into one of these:
And regarding the Legend Membership, How do you join it/Get the cards?

Don't let Gene Simmons see those. You might get to meet his lawyer when he sues for copyright infringement. Lol. Those alters are cool, but I don't think I could do that to a playset of FoW.

Yeah, if the artist screw up even one of those, you'll be left with a worthless, botched card. Heh, he might lurk under my bed if i do.

I remember getting one of these when i was younger came in a black box and costed about 20% more than your average intro pack. That was back in odyssey times though or at least that's the set i believe it was. Mine was a green treefolk deck i can't remember who the champion was but it came with a description of his deck and an info guide by him. Shame i got most of those cards stolen off me it came with several Rancor's which looked awesome with the gold rims.

The World Championship Decks were a thing they did for a couple years. I've owned and traded a couple away to people.
I still have the 1999 Tokyo Finalist 'Mark Le Pine' deck, which has Jackal Pups, Cursed Scrolls, 4 wasteland, and some other stuff. Lots of fun.

Hmm, might buy a deck too get some Ancestral Recall and some other cards, or maybe just to play it with some friends.

@MonsterFinder221: You realize they aren't real Ancestral Recall s, right? The only things gold-bordered cards are good for are collecting and cubing.

So if there is an article we would like to post do you think it best if we just post date it for a month from now and then let you release it when you feel the time is right? My goal for the ability articles I was talking about is to have one out per week, by the weekend.
