Elementals!!!
Without further ado:
(what I meant was:)
Without ado:
(but now that doesn't apply, so:)
Without further ado, let's jump in.
Today, we'll begin by discussing- yeah, a one sided discussion- why Air Elemental 's so dang good. Or bad. Like I said, it's a discussion. Also like I said, it's a one-sided discussion. So, here goes:
Red and Blue are the controllers of the elements.
hmm... Yeah, Earth Elemental is the only one that kept it's original flavor text in the latest edition... Even Water elemental didn't. I wonder why...
Air Elemental , along with Earth Elemental , Water Elemental , and Fire Elemental , were good friends back in Alpha Edition. Or, more specifically, Air Elemental was best friend to Water Elemental . Earth Elemental was a good buddy to Fire Elemental . The four Ancient Greek elements were Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. Seriously. Watch the Avatar:The Last Airbender intro just once and you'll get it. The ancient Greeks thought that the world was made of these elements, mixed differently in different substances. Anyway, Water is the enemy of Fire- no wonder Blue hates Red- and Earth is the enemy of Air- no wonder Red hates Blue. But could the colors have been arranged differently? Er... Could the elements have been arranged differently?
Blue has to have water, no doubt, and it can't have fire. Blue has a freakin' droplet of water in the mana symbol. But could it have Earth? Maybe... but once we get to red...
Red has to have either Fire or Earth, as the mana symbol seems like a comet. You know, like earth on fire. Oh! So no, Blue can't have Earth. But can Red have Air? It would unbalance the color wheel, but, heck, NO.
Now, why doesn't Green get earth? Seriously. Oh, it's totally not because of the main purpose of green: NATURE LIFE AND IS MY EVERYTHING. MORE IMPORTANT THAN YODA, IT IS.
(pardon the bad yoda-speak)
Wait a minute... So, if we have the elements and Green...

SCORE: 1 | 0 COMMENTS | 140 VIEWSHello! I'm still Starn, and I want to tell you a few reasons why you should play Temur. First, you get a living world that lives. You have Earth, Fire, Water, and Air, so you already have a world, ready for, you know, life.
Would you like a scry of the next almost-daily?
Augury Owl says hi to Red Elemental Blast and Blue Elemental Blast .
No, it goes more like:
When Ajani Goldmane will Go for the Throat ...
The time after next time, would you like to read about:
- Magic's Instants; or
- How to build an aggro deck (It's going to be red, obviously)
(if you see my profile, you'll see my bio of "My favorite decks to build and play are Mono Red burn decks" or something like that)
If you still want your answer, I think Air Elemental is actually a nice card in the not-so-creature-inhabited-Blue. It has flying, and it's a solid 4/4. Why they didn't reprint Water Elemental to a modern set: It has way too much power, probably. Normally, that's Red's job. Blue's job is to be reactive, use overcosted creatures, and evade... with overcosted creatures. Random note about Fire Elemental : It was my first elemental. My first set was M13.

I don't quite understand the purpose of this article, but I think I enjoyed it for one reason or another.

Color me confused.
- There was supposed to be talk of Air Elemental, for whatever reason.
- Then there was random somewhat circular talk of why the 4 oldschool elementals are the colors that they are.
- Then a wild Temur deck appears!
- Finally, back to Air Elemental. Because it flies.
I don't get it.

Um.. Yeah... I'm sorry. I'm very confusing- that's why people find me very confusing.
