You get two modern legal booster packs.
No foils (including masterpieces) and no flips.

Thats 1 rare/mythic, 3 uncommons, and 10 commons

Build a 40 card deck.

Damn this is interesting. Does modern legal mean no more than 4 copies a thing per pack? From the same expansion?

"Scars of Mirrodin"4 Glistener Elf common

2 Mutagenic Growth common

4 Gitaxian Probe common

3 Dismember uncommon

1 Spellskite Rare

Now "Rise of the Eldrazi"

3 Emerge Unscathed uncommon

4 Hyena Umbra common

Or maybe hand disruption, or something. This format is broken.

What I think the op means is that you choose two booster packs and build a deck just from the random cards you open in those two packs.

hannibal6 Some points of clarification, please: Do we choose what's in the boosters? If not, how do we determine what's in them? Do you want us to buy physical cards?

Ahh. I just assumed it was "Pick two modern legal sets, and build a deck using 10 commons from each, 3 uncommons, 1 rare, etc."

Not random cards, you choose whats in the packs. but only 1 of each card in a pack. You can have at most 2 of any card in the deck. (if its in both of the sets/you chose the same set for both packs)

I put this together at 1:00 in the morning, so it's a mess, but legal.
