Commander Deck Help forum

Hello guys, i'm here to look for help in order to improve my Lathril, Blade of the Elves commander deck. I usually play always with my friends, which use Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver zombie tribal, Millicent, Restless Revenant spirit tribal, Captain N'ghathrod horror tribal. The hardest for me is the spirit tribal ones, probably because flying. I think my win conditions should be mass elves+power up or tap/untap with lathril, and i focused the deck on these strategies. However, i improve the precon randomly, choosing cards just looking to other decks on the web. However, i think there is much to improve in this deck, but, looking around, i really don't know in which cards invest. I would like to make it more solid and fluid, because sometimes i just do not enter in play because of horrible hands. I ask your help to improve this decklist! thank you https://www.moxfield.com/decks/OqxsnwVoREKHMGZwxglJkA
PS: we do NOT use the rule of 21 commander dmg as win con.
Nice deck : ) I guess my only question is, what do you want to do as a wincon? There are a lot of options to go infinite if you want to, but I completely understand if you don't. But things like Fauna Shaman or Green Sun's Zenith or Vivien, Monsters' Advocate can really make creature based combos very reliable.
Another take would be to go the enchantress route. Green has a lot of ways to get incidental card draw off enchantments, like Rune of Might and Kenrith's Transformation. Those together with Argothian Enchantress or other enchantresses, including Setessan Champion and Eidolon of Blossoms can be a very effective draw engine in green. And enchantress decks love Arasta of the Endless Web who can really help with flying problems. Everyone feeds her : ) No one respects spiders.
But at the same time, enchantress might also make it less of an elf deck. So, I guess, what are you most interested in doing with the deck? It looks like a really good elf combat deck as is, it could be powered up by infinites like Umbral Mantle or Quirion Ranger and Ashaya, Soul of the Wild or Staff of Domination to power a Wren's Run Packmaster or Umbral Mantle pump win. Ezuri, Renegade Leader is also a great mana outlet. But it all depends what you want to play I guess : )

It looks like you need more ramp and card draw the most.
Skullclamp and every version of Deadly Dispute like Altar's Reap, Reckoner's Bargain and Village Rites could help. You should have a mana dork or an elf token idling at any time that you can sacrifice to draw more cards. Return of the Wildspeaker could double as another overrun effect.
For ramp I'd go with Farhaven Elf, Sakura-Tribe Elder, Rampant Growth and Nature's Lore.
Blackblade Reforged, Stoneforge Masterwork, Crown of Skemfar and Alpha Status can make Lathril ridiculously big.
Elvish Guidance can be your budget version of Gaea's Cradle.
Elderfang Venom seems better than Bow of Nylea.
Windgrace's Judgment is in my opinion a strictly better Casualties of War because destroing a land can make you an enemy of the table and with Windgrace's Judgment you can answer 3 biggest threats on the battlefield regardless of their type at instant speed.

For flying hate cards Hurricane/Squall Line, Spidersilk Armor/Gravity Well, Whiptongue Hydra are all great fly haters and Bower Passage makes your elves unblockable to fliers. While none of these should be thrown into your main board some should make it into side board if you really can't handle your friends flying spirits.
Card to help you:
Tyvar Kell I would add since so many elves only tap for green mana this will help you get more black mana. Plus his +1 buffs an elf (not as good as if buffed 2 or 3 but hey it still ok) and gives deathtouch till the end of turn meaning it's always a viable attacker. like Xenagos, he has a 0 ability that make a token and they are of course elves and his ult gives you hasty elves!!! (rare in non red) plus some draw power
Circle of Dreams Druid-Is Gaea's Cradle on legs
Harald Unites the Elves- Can help you cheat a elf or Tyvar into play, buffs all yours elves than can be a board wipe if attack with your massive army of elves
Priest of Titania- is Elvish Guidance on legs which itself is a Elf version of Gaea's Cradle as Kret pointed out
Other game enders are your standard Overrun, Overwhelming Stampede, Triumph of the Hordes and Craterhoof Behemoth

I'm wondering, why does your playgroup not use the Commander damage rule as a win condition?

Skeleton Key - skulk might help with your commander, ESPECIALLY when combined with menace, and I feel like folks forget that it fits in non-haunted-house decks so I wanted it listed too ;p Extinction - one of my favorite natural disasters for troublesome elf/horror/spirit decks. It’s only a one-time use but boy will it get some attention.

Though, I do disagree a little bit on some of the ramp listed here. With the amount of creature ramp available in elves, something like Rampant Growth will get cut over time. Priest of Titania and Circle of Dreams Druid are amazing though : )

Familiar Ground. It makes your commander unblockable.

I'm gonna say more draw, or at least more efficient draw, which is easy in a green creature deck. Along the Beast Whisperer line of thinking, you have to include Vanquisher's Banner, as well as Zendikar Resurgent and/or The Great Henge for both the ramp and draw, and probably include Guardian Project as well, and maybe Soul of the Harvest. Next I would consider stuff like Shamanic Revelation, Collective Unconscious, Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury, or maybe Inspiring Call if you'll be distributing enough +1/+1 counters to creatures. To go other routes for draw, I would consider including Grothama, All-Devouring to attack/fight/"sac" a bunch of "excess" creatures for draw, or Skullmulcher does similar in a pure sac way, or perhaps Ohran Frostfang, Regal Force, Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Benefactor's Draught, Mind's Eye, War Room, and while Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is off the Elf theme, it's still effective for more than draw. Or go with stuff like Rishkar's Expertise, Hunter's Prowess, or Garruk, Primal Hunter if you're going the tron route with Lathril. If you don't mind spending some money, it's hard not to also mention Sylvan Library.
Anyway, tons of great draw options that are in line with your deck's theme. And if you have excess ramp, you need excess draw to keep up.
