Hello, friends.
As someone who's been furloughed for the past three months, I've been finding that I have nearly infinite time on my hands, yet have nothing to do with it. As such, I have taken to constructing many decks that I have never and will never actually own. This one, however is different. Constructed this morning, it's based on a brawl deck I made last night on Arena purely out of boredom, but I'm hooked. Since I currently have no actual outlets to play paper commander, I figured I'd ask everyone's opinion of this, first.
My God this is a Thousand Year Storm
I'm much, much more comfortable with creature-based decks, and even my decks with lower creature counts are still based around commander damage (i.e., my Shu Yun deck). So, I guess I'm wondering if there's a realistic way to win here? I know the strategy is strong in one-on-one games, but I'm curious how your spellslinger decks have fared in commander. Also, this is mostly a goofy deck hoping to storm off every few games, so I'm not looking for perfect optimization, but it's also not purely a meme deck so I want it to actually work. Let me know what you think.
