How Can I Put Overcharged Amalgam into my Mimeoplasm Deck?

I have an EDH deck with The Mimeoplasm as its general, and I would like to put a copy of Overcharged Amalgam into that deck, as that card would definitely work with that deck's theme, but I am not certain of what card I should remove, to make room, for it.

I could replace Voidslime, since the amalgam has the same effect as that card, but that would increase this deck's mana curve, and I also am considering replacing Recoil, since that card is only acceptable, at best, but that would also raise this deck's mana curve, but none of the cards that cost 4 mana in this deck are cards that I wish to remove, so I may not be able to put the amalgam into this deck, after all.

What does everyone else say, about this? How can I put overcharged amalgam into my Mimeoplasm deck? I certainly would appreciate any suggestions that anyone here can offer.

I could also replace Countermand with the amalgam, but that card contributes directly to the theme of this deck, so I am not certain if I wish to replace it.

DemonDragonJ I tried to offer advice on deckbuilding a few months back but it wasn't received well and you mentioned you only wanted card suggestions, which is why you posted here.

I noticed you post a few times every week asking for help with specific card replacements. With this level of interest in specific cards, I think you'd really enjoy playtesting cards a bit on your own. I used to ask people about swaps just as often until I began to start writing lists and playtesting my own swaps.

Often when I am not sure about a card that look fun or better, I swap it into my deck and keep the swapped out card on a "maybelist". That way, when you get a chance to play with the card, you can compare it to what you swapped out.

Often, what I end up finding is that what I've swapped in is more fun/functional and if I end up missing the old card (I usually dont) you keep it on the maybeboard and wait to draw/play a card that feels not so good or fun, then you know it's time for a swap.

Doing this will help a lot when you're trying to analyze card swaps. Often I see you wanting to keep cards that fit a decks theme, but really dozens if not hundreds of cards fit any given theme. You only have 100, so you'll always find more cards that fit the themes. Ultimately it's about what's most fun/flavorful for your deck .

shadow63, actually, it does, since the general of this deck (i.e., The Mimeoplasm) uses all players' graveyards as resources.
