I wanted to build a "not-scary" voltron deck. Are there any obvious auto-includes I'm missing?

For casual EDH.

The deck design is very contrarian on purpose. It wants to load up the commander with a lot of effects, yet also make the threat level seem low so that on one feels the need to address it over whatever threats other opponents are putting on the table.

Command damage is the win condition, yet speed is kept slow, which results in the deck also having a lot of pillow fort elements.

The deck likes life gain effects and wants to avoid cards that scream "remove this or you're all going to die." I like the vibe of flying under the radar and building out.

This thread explains the general vibe I want whereas the deck description lists out the gameplan with more concrete details behind its strategy.

Are there any card-includes you think I missed that could help better realize what I'm going for?

With all the walls, and I hope I don’t get too many groans, you might consider Fortified Area to divide up the damage they’re taking to keep them alive. Blocking with banding is pretty wild, when you get right down to it.

@FormOverFunction, I like banding + blocking, but I want to keep the power of the walls as low as possible. I want my opponents to feel like they'll keep their stuff when swinging into me, so that when they attack, I get more and more life gain from my commander blocking.

Defensive Formation is a more appealing card as it's practically the same thing but cheaper and also applies to my commander, however its value goes down a lot the more indestructible effects I put on my walls, which is why I'm on the fence about it.

Very good points, and I’m glad you had already considered banding-esque concepts. It’s an often forgotten piece of magic. The deck looks super fun! Let me know how it goes once you start taking it out for a drive or two!

It’s a little off-the-wall, but it could be funny to have Melee in your pocket as a removal spell, obviously depending on special conditions. The idea of taking out a summoning-sick Thrummingbird or other important piece with your commander seems (almost) too good to pass up.
