OP Deck Needed
Commander Deck Help forum

Hello,
Recently my playgroup has added a new member. We have always been a casual group but the new guy has turned it into a very competitive rule following group. The only deck I have is a 5-color super friends that doesn't always get the job done. I want some help making the most overpowered, not fun, infinite combo, and rule bending deck ever. Winning is the only key to this.
Thanks for any feedback as it is greatly appreciated.
Uril is pretty good for killing quickly, Zur is a sick choice, Edric is another strong option. All are pretty up there. Bruna might be a choice too. Or go full aggro with Krenko goblins and slap them quick and hard!

The new guy is using Omnath, Locus of Rage. He generally is pumping out 5/5 tokens by turn 6.

Go for Uril, break out the ramp and take infinite attack phases with Bear Umbra and Aggravated Assault before he can drop the omnath. Failing that, just give Uril protection from that guys elementals and get 21 commander damage to face.

I'll recommend MrAwesomeSocks's deck Who shall I be when I devour your soul?. His description can give you more info than I can, but I can tell you my favorite strategy for it.
(1) Pay 2, Use Scion of the Ur-Dragon's effect.
(2) Choose Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon as the target.
(3) Chain Scion's effect to his own effect from (1). Pay 2, and target Moltensteel Dragon.
(4) Last on the stack resolves, Scion is now Moltensteel. Use his ability, paying 12 life to give him +6/+0. It is the card that gets the boost, so changing into another dragon won't take this away.
(5) Next on the stack resolves, Scion is now Skithiryx. Skithiryx has 4/4, but receives the +6/+0 the card had as Moltensteel.
(6) Attack with 10/4 Infect with Flying. If they can't stop it, it doesn't matter how much life they have.
This means, if the deck is done correctly, you can win by turn 6 or even by turn 5.
Aside from that, the deck just typically has a way to respond to anything. It's very versatile.

You want to make people cry? Run .
Knowledge Pool + Rule of Law /Curse of Exhaustion + Knowledge Pool . Both of these combos will shut decks down. The only difference is that with Knowledge Pool out, Rule of Law will shut down every spell from every deck, but with Curse of Exhaustion you can pick what deck you want to stop, which will usually be your new friend's deck. If you need a deeper explanation on that combo, just let me know XD.

Can't you just put more removal and board wipes in your deck? 5-color superfriends should already have plenty of that. Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, Terminate, Vindicate, Wrath of God, Day of Judgment, Damnation, Supreme Verdict, Oblivion Ring, Banishing Light, etc. You should be able to deal with Omnath, Locus of Rage very easily.
Otherwise you could play Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind/Curiosity combo. It's a pretty cheap deck to put together that can become relatively degenerate.

Brago, King Eternal is a good one that abuses ETB effects in . He breaks the stack and can go infin easily with Strionic Resonator using Sol Ring. You can permanently exile things with Oblivion Ring or manifest your entire deck using Cloudform/Lightform if you feel like it.

Arcum Dagsson can tutor out all kinds of game locking artifacts.
Sharuum the Hegemon with Sculpting Steel or Phyrexian Metamorph and Disciple of the Vault does infinite damage.
Azami, Lady of Scrolls with Mind Over Matter can filter your deck to get whatever card you need. If you run one of the original ulamogs or kozileks you can then use that little combo to dig for Temple Bell and make players draw their decks out.
Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir with Knowledge Pool locks the game down for everyone but you. Usually results in scoops. This is the deck I play if I want to teach someone a lesson.
These generals all have combos and locks that are promised to piss anyone off and with a little bit of research you can make a really good deck with them. I have a basic sharuum deck:
Sharuum of Doom
Commander / EDH

You could play Scornful Egotist: Maelstrom Wanderer: Scornful Egotist? No Sol Ring?
Before you disregard this comment thinking I'm a troll, the only way this deck loses is to double Counterspell. Ultra consistent, ultra un-interruptible, ultra unfun.
I almost actually did lose friends because of this, not exaggerating.

Blue/White is good for stopping people in their tracks. Plus, Rest in Peace says no to any damage from Omnath, Locus of Rage.
Brago, King Eternal or Lavinia of the Tenth are fun choices.

Grand Arbiter Augustine IV also works with Azorious colors and can be quite punishing in a stax or prison setting.

I would say build Ad-nauseum edh, consistent wins turn 2 or 3 with no counters, and seeing as he's g/r he's boned. Ad Nauseum Primer there is the primer it's a few years old but my friend built this deck for serum visions and path promos for my lgs' fnm commander tournaments and he won every game without much fight from the rest of the table, the deck grew a reputation so quickly that people just DON'T PLAY commander if the prize is a promo card he wants. this deck also fits the theme of "non interactive combo deck where you crush everyone's spirit"

Talrand, Sky Summoner is another option that will annoy your friend. Fill it with cheap cantrips and counters and deny him of his key pieces while amassing an army of fliers. Runechanter's Pike strapped to a Drake can make the game shorter. Talrand can also be built on a budget if that's a factor

Any price limit? If not, I've built a number of "broken" Tier 1 and 2 decks of various archetypes that may be of interest to you.
Derevi and Brago: The Romance of the Millennium: My second strongest deck. Stax/Prison is perhaps the single least-fun deck archetype to play against, and no commander does mana denial better than Derevi.
I Don't Mean to Brago, But...: Another prison commander. He focuses more on artifacts and land destruction than creatures and untap step attacking.
Karadora the Graveyard Explorer: A brutal blend of reanimator and control with a combo finisher of Boonweaver Giant combo.
Zur's Proxied Parade of Pain: Currently the strongest deck I have ever created (or seen, for that matter. I've yet to find an EDH deck that outperforms it). It utilizes numerous strategies, including, but not limited to: Hard Control, Mana Denial, Combo, Voltron, and Toolbox. Each is incorporated flawlessly, leading to horrifyingly oppressive gameplay.
Narset's Face-Wrecking Turn Fest: A true glass cannon combo deck. It still needs some overhaul since the update, but it's quite capable of consistently pulling off turn four wins.
Live long and Prosshper: Another nearly glass cannon build. It's primary goal is to get Food Chain into play, win. It's still brutally fast and consistent even after the removal of Partial Paris.
Muscle Plasm: Another combo-control build similar to Karador, but with a heavier emphasis on combo.
I hope these give you a few potential ideas for building an oppressive deck.
(P.S. Yes, I just took this opportunity to blatantly advertise some of my decks).

There is no price limit. I will try to buy what my budget allows then I will proxy the rest if need be.

Well, I just looked at the decks on NarejED's profile, and any one of those would be a great choice, if you like the playstyles. All of the commanders are considered "OP" by a lot of people.

If your goal is just to punish the Omnath player, then add in more targeted creature removal than you're currently using. That deck type tends to collapse like a house of cards if it's denied its commander. And this is true even if they're ramping up to 30 lands in play.
In my experience a lot of more casual EDH decks go way too light on removal cards and to the extent removal exists in their deck it is often from wraths. If your own board state is decent you don't want to wipe it just to kill his tokens! With a 5C deck you have access to every excellent removal spell ever printed, and if you're willing to spend a little to acquire them all then you're in very good shape.
But if you really just want to change commanders and build a beast of a deck the rest of this thread has you covered.

Well you could play a Hermit Druid combo deck. That is generally the deck that wins the fastest in EDH. But it is not too consitent and can be disrupted pretty easily. Or you could use something like Epoch's deck Dominus - Dreamcrusher Edition. It would help if you could say what kinda decks the new guy/ other players use.
