My playgroup is suddenly bursting with mono blue players and I'm not sure how to respond. I'm playing mostly my bant toolbox deck that already has plenty of creature tutors. The only card I have at the moment to deal with counterspells is Dragonlord Dromoka and three of my own counterspells. I'm adding more card draw so that I can better deal with 1 for 1 trades and considering picking up Grand Abolisher. Are there any other cards that I should be looking at or any change in strategy I should consider? Thanks in advance

Since Tappedout crashes when I edit my post, doublepost:
Silence and Orim's Chant will help protect your turn if they only have one counter. Countering the Silence will take the counter, not countering the Silence will not let them cast their counter spell.

Defense Grid and/or more counterspells. Dosan the Falling Leaf.

In red you got Price of Glory. That makes it really hurt to counterspell, or anything instant speed.

Oh Crap, missed the Bant part. Welp all I said was irrelevant.

Might I suggest Forbid? I know it's not a great counterspell usually, but it could offer a lot in terms of "I need this again"

If you run fetch lands and you want to set up a way to tell the other blue players to fuck off Forbid + Life from the Loam can really annoy them and show them you're done dealing with their BS lol

You can find a nifty resource called "Anti-control" on my profile.

Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir wrecks opponents playing blue

Glen Elendra Archmage is a good solution to counter-counters, and is something you can probably tutor up, maybe, seeing as you like creature tool-box stuff.
And you can do it twice!

Savage Summoning and Autumn's Veil. There's another effect like them with a bear on it but I forget the name. In white there is Scout's Warning.
I main these in my Momir Vig deck as applicable due to my meta, with a sideboard of cards I can swap out if I find myself at a new place with little blue going around.

Boseiju, Who Shelters All is one good answer to your question. Unless your opponents run Mindbreak Trap, your Instants and Sorceries will be safe as can be.

Leyline of Lifeforce seems like a great tool to protect your creatures, especially considering it can start the game on the battlefield. Other than that, I'd say fighting counters with counters, using Dromoka-like effects and uncounterable creatures are all good options. I will say being bant you have access to some pretty good counterspells, but that's just my opinion, and if you don't feel like using tons of counterspells as well that's completely fine

City of Solitude if you can deal with the fact that you are affected by it. Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir shuts down a number of control decks entirely. As you named, Grand Abolisher is a great tool, too. If you're into creature based Bant, cards like Terra Stomper and Gaea's Revenge help getting out of counter range. Creatures put into play with Quicksilver Amulet can't be countered either.
Leyline of Anticipation, Prophet of Kruphix, and Alchemist's Refuge help you passing off the moment when the counter-players tap out better.
