Fuse Cards from Dragon's Maze not Legal?

Commander (EDH) forum

Hey guys, I've been finding some use of the Fuse cards in my EDH decks, however, when I check their legality here on tappedout, they say that it's not legal in any format. I've checked google and am not seeing any indication as to why. See Wear / Tear as an example. Am I misunderstanding something here?

They just haven't gotten around to legalizing all the cards in every format. Pay no attention to card legality on tappedout, it's very inconsistent.

It depends on your commanders color identity. Wear and Tear need to be in a RWx colored commander, so that might be why it's not showing up if you're putting it in a commander that doesn't have both red and white in the identity.

Wear / Tear is a great card and both those guys are correct.

Yeah, it should be fine with Tariel, Reckoner of Souls. I was just nervous throwing it in if it wasn't legal. Is there a better site to check card legality/ban lists?

I suggest checking your cards over at magiccards.info for the legality, else you can find the ban list over at mtgcommander.net/rules.php , think the list is updated.

Yes it is perfectly legal in a deck with a Commander that fits both colors. As you mentioned, Tariel, Reckoner of Souls is fine.

Would also fit with Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. I used to run it in Kaalia of the Vast.
