Help! I just want to have fun!

I'm trying to find a commander/commander deck that I can play and have loads of fun with. I seem to get dried out with decks after awhile, and its very frustrating. Mayael was my first deck and I LOVE cheating huge, powerful creatures into play. I've played Kaalia, Maelstrom Wanderer, Kresh, and they all just seemed very linear and unenjoyable. If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
Okay, having played commander for a while, I feel like I have some kind of idea what I find enjoyable, so I'll share that.
If you're just looking for fun, don't try to win, simple as that. This doesn't mean you can't go for the victory if it's within your grasp, but you shouldn't actively go for ending the game, rather I'd say go for the opposite.
Though it isn't an actual mechanic, politics are are big part of playing Commander, so play a deck where politics is possible. This'll make sure your game isn't just about outplaying opponents, but you'll be doing things that aren't just in the cards.
Also, make sure you don't have only one way to win. Have several and maybe even have a way to just end the game for everyone making no one a winner, but let this be completely bullshit like drawing everyone out.
Oh! And one last thing, this being the most important in my opinion: Don't, I repeat, Don't have cards that search for your main cards. Commander is about every game being different and if you have 20 tutors to search for two cards that you always play and then win, you'll find the deck boring so fast.
None of these tips will work for you if you want to win your games, but being somone that's been playing the same commander deck for almost every commander game for an entire year, having fun every time, I feel like I've got a grasp of the fun I need for myself and hopefully these tips will help you have more fun with commander.

Zer0w that is possibly the best way to describe a deck that I have ever seen. also, i would agree. Scion of the Ur-Dragon is incredibly fun and flexible. If you want to, you can even go budget with him. kinda.

I sometimes like to use other peoples decks for fun when I get tired of my decks. I also sometimes disassembl my decks to start over and see what I come up with.

I mean, based on what you've written, it is almost impossible for us to know what you like and why you disliked those generals.

Have you looked at a Norin the Wary deck? those things can get into all kinds of shenanigans! being in red means theres access to stuff like Warp World.

Animar, Soul of Elements is a general like Mayael that you just cast fatties and turn them sideways. The deck can be simplistic if you rely too much on Animar as your only way to get things out, but as a green ramp deck with the added bonus of making spells cheaper some of the time he can be a blast.

Group hug is extremely flexible and fun to play, and if you make the right deck you can have a good chance of winning. My Phelddagrif deck has had over 60% win rate just because people love the things it does, and by the time there is a single person left I can have ways of winning. I'd say if you are finding EDH decks bland politics are the way to go

TheDevicer Why I disliked those generals was because the strategy was linear and I seemed to be doing the same thing over and over again, therefore becoming unenjoyable. What I like to do is cheat things into play (I enjoy cards like Omniscience, Mayael, Sneak Attack, etc). I've recently started to rebuild Mayael, as it was my favorite deck and I've been itching to play it, but I want something where I can go multiple directions in a game and have it seem like I'm doing different things every game.

Generally when making a commander deck, don't think of what would be best to play, but what would be the most fun. Commanders like Lord of Tresserhorn seem stupid to play, but playing it and actuall getting it used is so much more fun than running a top-value deck and stomping everyone in my opinion.

+1 for Norin the Wary. My Norin deck (Norin Causes Chaos) has created some of the most fun and crazy EDH games that I've ever played.
Possibility Storm, Warp World, and Scrambleverse are all hilariously good. Plus there are plenty of cards that combo with Norin the Wary such as Genesis Chamber and Confusion in the Ranks.

To me having fun is synonymous with winning... but winning in a cool and clever way. I really like my Scion of the Ur-Dragon deck How to train yours Dragons it is combo focused and most of the combos have the goal of ending the game right there so there is no revenge... until the next game at least :) he is 5 colors so you can choose any card you'd like. powerful, fun, odd, whatever. Remember when we were kids and building a pillow fort was the best, so much fun! Well it still is. sit in your pillow fort and watch everyone else kill each other, FUN! Remember when we built ramps for our bikes to get "like 3 feet of air"? well Mana ramps are also fun, speed up the deck to put pressure on your opponents but your pillow forts stop them from doing anything about it... until it is too late, then the fun begins! The deck has an answer to almost anything. It has great consistency. even thought it is consistent it is FAR from linear, you really have the choice on how you want to play it. if you wanna go off with a combo it only takes 1... Yes, ONE! card to do that. a two card combo that needs Scion and only one other card and can end the game right then and there! OR if you wanna fill your graveyard with fatties that give each other haste and double strike and give you two attack phases then cast Living Death and watch as peoples hopes and dreams die! the combos are fun, the ramping is fun, the pillow forting is fun, the mass destruction is fun, reanimation is fun, and the winning.?.?.? is fun, too! and watching your friends cry in the fetal position or yell naughty words at you is... not so much fun... but it is satisfying.
