So... I'm not really quitting, because I will make a deck and sell the rest of my cards...

And I need help thinking a commander for these deck

I really like control, not heavy control, just control, cause I want it to e fun to my oponent

I want these deck to be mono blue and not a top 100ish edhrec card

I think some big monster finisher in command zone would be like Tormokratis

PLEASE HELP ME

I swear as I was reading this I was thinking Tromokratis he was my very first commander I built from scratch (dont have my list anymore) that being said... my honest to goodness truth opinion on "this will be my deck of all decks/final/only deck"... Unless you very seldom play (like just a few times a year) I wouldn't do Tromokratis.

I think he is a lot of fun... a great recommendation for teaching someone to play, and pretty budget friendly to make functional... certainly has a lot of room for permission spells for the control feel...but ultimately just feels really one dimensional... and if you only play every now and again I think its totally fine but i only needed to play a few games before I really had deck envy to do something else.

I dont really have a better more knowlegable suggestion but i figured I'd at least express my concern as a former Tromokratis pilot.

What about Nezahal, Primal Tide? It helps refill your hand if you are playing control, it's a 7/7 in the command zone, and it can protect itself so you don't need to recast it as often.

Have you seen The Mindskinner? It's a new and kinda goofy take on mono blue Mill. One of my friends recently put it together, but I haven't had the opportunity to play against it yet. Here is a pretty recent gameplay video from MTG Muddstah if you're interested in seeing it in action.

I'd suggest Kresh the Bloodbraided if you're limited to one deck, it can be dirt cheap and Kresh often gets hilariously big. You don't have Blue control, but Jund is awfully good at removing problems, arguably more efficiently than Blue control. More people are fine playing against Jund control than Blue permission, so you might avoid 'do you have something else?' coming up right away.

Another option might be Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, this can be incredibly 'samey' between games, but if you have several lines of wildly different power included it's possible to make a Sisay list that is fun vs a huge range of decks. I have a Progenitus in my Sisay list, so it technically has a huge terrifying monster I can fetch out if I want. If you want a more control heavy option you can lean into Hatebears with Sisay, she's a cEDH level Commander that often uses Rule of Law to great effect.

I have a deck built around each if you want some ideas.

I've been slowly selling off the "collection" as well, getting out of buying new toys, & just playing a few decks I am happy with. So a couple of pointers that have been good for me on my remaining decks that I rarely get out to play:

1) Randomized but impactful effects, to guarantee you always end up playing a different game. Higher budget examples: Etali, Primal Conqueror  Flip, Breach the Multiverse

2) Par down your color pie. Your mono example is not for me, but it does run in-line to this idea. This is a great opportunity to sell off a couple of specific-color staples & get rid of that WUBRG land base (if you had all that).

3) Valgavoth, Harrower of Soulsfoil not really control.. But IMO groupslug, done right, can be fun for your opponent specifically because you are NOT controlling their gameplay. Though, if you wanted Rakdos control suite, you can find a few cards that will accomplish that while drawing you a card.

4) Play off opponent's topdeck will not mess with their hand/limit resources. If you make a deck that does this, you have less need to "stay caught up/enfranchised" because you are as "caught up" to MtG as your opponents' are with this deck. This will be impactful, but always play differently (good qualities if you play infrequently). Eg. Rakdos, the Muscle

How about Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy and Candlekeep Sage? Run blink and bounce effects as control that's not too heavy that also gets you a lot of value.

There’s always the option of playing Bruvac the Grandiloquent. If you want a deck with lots of control effects, but a lot of fun social interaction, I would play The Beamtown Bullies.
