Hello everyone. There is a list of EDH Stax cards by Epochalyptik, but it hasn't been updated in a while and/or is missing a lot of cards. I am compiling a list of EDH cards that can be used in stax strategies and would love it if people looked at it and suggested any cards that I might be missing. As always, an upvote is very much appreciated. I have worked really hard on it so I hope everyone is satisfied with it.

Hello, MagicalHacker. Thank you for taking the time to look at and analyze the stax list I created.
I do not know about Uba Mask for stax as you can still use the cards that have been removed because of the mask.
Humility I can see, but it looks like you might need to combine that first. You could still swarm people with 1/1 weenies. Still, I will keep it under consideration if more people mention it or second your opinion.
Catastrophe isn't a bad one. However, cards like that raise a question: where do we draw the line between Stax and Boardwipes? Do we include all board wipes with stax affects? They clearly have their own stand alone category. They are also not a static affect. They happen, and then they're done. Catastrophe is clearly a board wipe. You can argue the same thing about a lot of the other cards that I have listed, and I would agree with you for some of them. It is just something I need to think about first before throwing it on the list. I know the list does need a little bit of cleaning and clarity with some things. I am hoping that as people contribute more that they can also help to add suggestions or clarify category descriptions.

Uba Mask is more to stop those players who like to Blue Sun's Zenith every game lol.
As for your main question, I think it depends on the definition of stax. For me, stax is when you limit what someone can do, literally. So because of that, it is my opinion that stax comes in three forms: either getting rid of all of someone's lands, getting rid of all of someone's hand, or making cards uncastable. Board wiping creatures is powerful, but it is not on its own a stax effect as it does none of those things.
That said, even though I think your list would be more helpful with those three categories only, I don't think encouraging stax cards in decks is going to beneficial for players, as it's the one thing that stops people from doing the thing that they came to do (play spells). Even still, I believe I can still provide some helpful pointers as I built my staple lists for the same reason you built yours: Epoch doesn't update his lists until a card is played heavily in the metagame (which, to me, misses a lot of gems for a lot of decks).

I'm very impressed! I can give advice about the most efficient ways to keep a list of staple effects up to date if you'd like, but I wanted to say that you will find more effects like these on some of my staple lists (you'll find these on my profile), like Uba Mask for draw limit on my staple list for anti-control cards, Humility for creature control on my staple list for "tuck" effects, and Catastrophe for land destruction on my staple list for board wipes.
