Need help to be green!

I've been challenged by my friends to build a green deck. One thing you need to know about me to understand my struggle is, in 20 years of playing mtg I'VE NEVER PLAYED GREEN ONCE.
So I went on EDHREC and checked all the general with green in their color identity and I narrowed it down to a big 8 cards. I need help understanding them better and to know if my strategies are viable for them or if there's a better one I could use instead.
-
Yisan, the Wanderer Bard Basically using my deck as a toolbox with a bunch of ETB and taping/untaping shenanigans with a small stax engine from artifacts
-
Gargos, Vicious Watcher Tribal hydras.
-
Rosheen Meanderer Tribal hydras and other X cards (not sure which one is better for tribal hydras between her and Gargos).
-
Siona, Captain of the Pyleas: Shielded by Faith + Siona, Captain of the Pyleas to create Infinite tokens then use them with Altar of Dementia to mill everyone to death or having Aetherflux Reservoir and any Soul Warden ability to gun down everyone.
-
The Mimeoplasm or Muldrotha, the Gravetide I have no idea how to play them I just thought they were funny.
6 Animar, Soul of Elements Eldrazi tribal. Also thinking about Protein Flash.
7.Yasova Dragonclaw Stealing stuff + pod effects or other sacrifices effect to kill the stuff I stole.
8.The First Sliver Sliver tribal (yeah I know you didn't see that coming, what a shock).
Let me know what you guys think might about these generals and if my strategies are viable and which one would be better.
budget isn't an issue and power level is semi-competitive (not casual but the decks won't be tuned to the most powerful versions).
Thanks

Interesting picks. As most of them dont feel green. I'd pick Animar, Soul of Elements as this feels the most green to me. Other than Gargos, Vicious Watcher. He or she is definitely green. Animar can take many directions as to what it is that you would like to do. But mostly all of them require swinging with creatures for the win. And that's very green.

I run yasova she is fun for ma but very annoying for other players Mana ramp helps as lot here is my deck link for ideas. The best thing with her there are ways to keep stuff until they bounce it or destroy the creatures etc you stole our you sacrifice them. The other fun thing with her she is a rarely used Commander. Here is my deck for an example Thiefing

My vote is definitely for Yasova! All the other options are very popular and very scary commanders for green, so I think it's important to try to stay under the radar and then be explosive than to potentially start the game as archenemy.

Here is my yasova deck too it's out of date.
I cave in man. Yasova is so much fun. But not fun for others to get there shit taken and sacrificed it blinked with conjurers' closet.

You can mix most of those into one good Surrak Dragonclaw goodstuff deck. Flash shinanegans, uncounterable eldrazi and other big things, ramp hard for X spells and or unlimited combat steps, Have Rashmi as a secret commander.

Your post says green, but these commanders are mostly multicolored. If you want a REAL green experience you need to go mono color.
Yisan is a powerful and well known one, and Gargos is probably good too, but I vote for Baru, Fist of Krosa. Hes a powerful but lesser known general and a BLAST to play. You get to keep making tokens and ramping until you win with a mega huge overrun attack.
Its actually a good commander deck and I think it's only underplayed because you can't trigger the grandeur ability on him in EDH. Which isn't relevant in my opinion as the remaining abilities are still great, but people get scared off by extra text on cards for some reason.
I haven't updated the list I used to play (see below) since I sold out of MTGO like a year ago, but it was one of my favorites to play at the time.
Baru, Token Fister

Lol, how to play green: Put 38 forests and 61 green cards in a deck, and be the best color. Really, though, I'd take Tomer from MTG Goldfish's $25 or $50 budget Gargos deck out for a spin if you're already thinking about hydra tribal, because it was damn impressive when he played it on stream for Commander Clash!

I think Yisan, the Wanderer Bard is a good mono-green commander that doesn't compromise on power, hell I think it just top 4'd in the recent Philly cEDH tourney. Even with low amounts of tuning and with a moderate budget, he is a powerhouse that can assemble infinite mana combos in a few activations. It also has a nutty toolkit at your disposal with spot removal, hexproof, overrun effects, etc. It's also mono-green, which I think is supposed to be the point of you trying out green and not just going tri-color with a splash of green for some dorks. Yisan has some cool interactions with Quirion Ranger / Wirewood Symbiote at verse 1 to get double triggers (can skip a verse 2 to get a double 3 CMC search). If you're going to try green, you might as well embrace it with a commander that brings out the best of the color.

Some of The most green cards in my opinion are Skyshroud Claim, Traverse the Outlands, Gaea's Touch, and Overwhelming Stampede.

If you can't ramp hard and efficiently or finish the game with swinging huge creatures then it's not green.

MJ3913 I don't even play yisan anymore I just dig the name! He is a killer commander. Animar is more fun in my opinion and gargos is more interesting. I haven't played or played against enough muldrotha but I think she more interesting too. But I put her lower just because I have less experience with her.

First since we are talking green I have to mention Grothama, All-Devouring, My deck In His Belly can be pretty spicy with a number of different things that go on.
I haven't toyed with all the ones you mentioned so I'll just touch on the ones I have.
Siona, Captain of the Pyleas those are certainly effective ways to play the deck. Outside of the combos you'll want a nice mix of auras that go on your stuff and creatures to put them on. Probably more auras than creatures since you can always put things on her and her tokens. Great enchantress deck.
Rosheen Meanderer I think is better with instants and sorceries that have in the cost. Creatures too but I'd generally aim to have all the mana production of all the times and then around 10 finishers.
The Mimeoplasm makes an amazing mill deck. I went for milling everyone at the table and then had things like Bloodchief Ascension to lay on the hurt when someone gets hit with Traumatize. Don't think of using mill as a way to win think of it as a way to attain resources that allow you to win. Some of your finishers there should be Rise of the Dark Realms and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. If you happen to mill someone out all the better.
