So me and my playgroup had a dilemma. We all kinda wanted to play usurper, but we'remissing our 5th person. I came up with a 4-player twist on it, so if you have any suggestions or advice, I'd love to hear it.

You start off like usual, handing out the cards discreetly to each person. There are 4 classes, and each with their own way to win.

Official: Wins If the Criminal is Dead

Criminal: Wins If the Official is Dead

Civilian: Wins IF KILLED by the Official

Accomplice:WinsIF KILLED by the Criminal

I like it! This reminds me of Secret Partners, but I've never heard of usurper, what's that?

Usurper is a 5-player commander format(but I guess it works with other formats). There are 5 roles.

King: Only one Known before the game. Wins if the Assassin and Traitor are dead.

Guard:Wins When the Assassin and Traitor are dead

Assassin: Wins When the King is Dead

Traitor: Wins when everybody is dead

It's also called kingdoms, sometimes you play with another role called usurper who kills the king and then becomes him/her.
