If you could have a commander that wasn't a creature, then what card would you choose?

I'd probably choose something like Clock of Omens for an artifact deck. Or Traumatize or Keening Stone for mill.

Mono green ramp w/ Primal Rage. Turn 5 insta win through Avenger of Zendikar, Craterhoof Behemoth, and Concordant Crossroads.

Whoops. Primal Surge instead of Primal Rage.

Helvault. Since you can send it back to CZ instead of putting it into your graveyard, you can make sure your opponents never have creatures ever. Just make infinite mana, exile the whole board, then continue to exile your opponents' creatures as they play them until they scoop and never play with you again.

Ancestral Recall and Time Walk seem like pretty powerful choices to me. You didn't say they couldn't be banned cards. Gaea's Cradle in an elfball deck would be sweet. Tezzeret the Seeker would be pretty busted. I'm sure I could think up some sweet combo deck around Conflux. Supreme Verdict would certainly be "Fun."

I already do that. Daretti, Scrap Savant says hi, and laughs at cards that say "destroy all creatures".
