Multiple lords won't help each other usually and will always show up at the same time, bumming you out. Better to pick one or two tribals then stock up on those. One lord each of merfolk, ally, wizard, bird etc is annoying to you not your opponents.

I think now is a great time to build a token deck.
It is my understanding the ruling on the new mutate mechanic is that if you mutate a token creature it stays a token no matter which creature is on top. However if you mutate a legendary creature and place a non legendary on top it looses legendary. this means you can use populate to create some very interesting board states.

First example that comes to mind is Dark Depths withSawtusk Demolisher mutated ontop.
then populate an army of 6/6 flying, trample, indestructible beasts
I'm sure there is better things that can be done. this is just first idea.

Use Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer. Make one scary token then Tempt with Vengeance or something.
Copies of The Mimeoplasm mutated and populated would be weird as hell.

I mean, shapeshifter tribal is a deck, since you can pack the list with all sorts of lords (i.e. Knight Exemplar). Changeling tokens is a little bit more tricky as the number of token generators you have is not huge.
