Should the Tuck rule come back?

Some commanders create such a polarizing state of play. Granted, when you play commander you usually want access to your commander but the truck rule adds more to decision making and deck construction choices. What are your thoughts?

The only decision I ever made due to the tuck rule was should I run a destroy effect or should I run another tuck effect. It really didn't change much about the game for me or change my deck construction much.

I think the rules are more consistent the way it is now and the more consistent the rules are the better the game flows. Having your commander able to go back to the command zone when it goes anywhere except if it goes to your library brought up questions by people when I was teaching them. Now the rule explanation is easier.

I just think itd be funny to tuck someone's urza or the first sliver and see if the deck can function without it

No it makes blue even stronger.

RNR_Gaming a well built sliver deck shouldn't take too much of a hit losing the general and the deck should have a few tutors.

Yes but if they have to tutor for the commander it slows em down.

I'd rather use a Song of the Dryads / Imprisoned in the Moon if you see lots of decks in your meta that're Commander reliant.

shadow63 white is usually the color that tucks.
There are cards like Song of the Dryads in white blue and green. Red and black could use some tbh.

It's much easier to recover from removal and commander tax then it is to get it back from your deck. You either need to get really lucky or exhaust resources to get it back.
