PEOPLE OF THIS FORUM... could you help a high school student out? I love commanders who embody the format of casting things that wouldn't be cast elsewhere. Better known as spell slinging commanders, however cue the drum roll I have a Budget! Could you people of the EDH forum link your favorite spell slinger decks. So far I've been having fun with the Mizzix of the Izmagnus precon. I should also probably tell you my budget. please try to keep these lists around $250, I should also not that I am in possession of Sensei's Divining Top and a High Tide. I would love to see your guys take on the best way to play commander.
lemmingllama's deck is absolutely fun. I can only recommend melek. With the precon you are already in possession of a big part of the cards needed. The extra turns are not necessarily needed and the rest is inexpensive compared to other decks. But it can make incredible turns, ending up with blue sun's zenith for 30 copied 4 times or even more :D

Melek, Izzet Paragon is a fantastic option. And there is plenty of support for him to spell sling at max speeds. My suggestion for a trick to keep you over powered is enchantments, artifacts and creatures that make spells cheaper, extra turn spells and big burn spells. (Also, Future Sight or Magus of the Future for shifting through enchantments and creatures to get to the good stuff).

And as backup you might play Laboratory Maniac in combination with the futuresight, Sensei's Divining Top, Etherium Sculptor combo. Even Windfall after a crazy Blue Sun's Zenith will do the job with laboratory maniac

My spellslinging deck is Melek, Izzet Paragon, but it might give you some ideas of cool things you can do.
