Any suggestions on a fun Rakdos Commander/strategy? I've got an Anje falkenrath deck with the Animate Dead + Worldgorger Dragon combo I'm a lttle tired of playing and a bunch of other Rakdos cards. Don't mind including the infinite combo but don't want it to be the only wincon. thanks..

Hobestly one of the most fun decks Ive ever played was a Rakdos goblin sac/dragon tribal deck helmed by Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury. That kind of deck could be right up your alley if you want something a little less combo-y and a little less competitive.

Also, I had like not just beating face for a wincon, but a silly wincon using a mass of tokens as utilized by having Dragon Tempest in play then dropping a Descent of Dragons.

The ultimate chad deck and absolute blast to play Kaervek the Merciless. Spam your deck with creature sweepers like Pyroclasm and Anger of the Gods and Damnation to slow down the extremely creature heavy meta and BTFO elf mana. Run a suite of mana rocks and accelerators/rituals to power out your high CMC commander. Run cards that do well in longer games and stalled out boards, like repeated draw effects Phyrexian Arena or creature spam Bitterblossom Goblin Rabblemaster. Also a big fan of cards that punish players, like Curse of Marit Lage or Painful Quandary. Throw in some good creatures (with 4+ toughness so you can spam red board sweeper spells), some reanimator spells, and some card draw, and your combo to win, and you've got a nasty little deck.

I think that Obosh, the Preypiercer looks like a lot of fun in the command zone. Not worth the companion restriction to make it a partner, but a Rakdos deck that puts all its damage sources at odd CMC, but gets to play all the 2-mana rocks, and other value cards at even CMC's seems like a really cool deck. Not to mention you get to play Ashling's Prerogative and Extinction Event, which both seem like a lot of fun.

I have a The Scorpion God deck and I find it very fun to play, because I built it as a ramp/draw deck and so I am often able to see/play the majority of the deck. The commander itself is also very hard to get rid of. (Worth noting that I play in a 75% meta, nothing competitive.)

Any love for a Chainer, Nightmare Adept budget build? I just have a lot of cards that on hand that would fit.

Chainer, Nightmare Adept is a pretty bread and butter reanimator strategy. The bonus is you save slot efficiency by having a discard outlet in the command zone. I'd also peek at the handful of "everybody discard" effects like Oppression Bottomless Pit and Necrogen Mists because Chainer plays well from the GY. You can also accelerate faster than normal by running Reanimate or Animate Dead or other cards that let you play from the GY for cheaper than casting cost.

From what's been listed here so far, my vote is for Obosh, Kaervek, or Scorpion God. Discard, sac, and graveyard strategies firmly fall into the realm of "Oh, another [overdone archetype] deck. If not me, let's king-make the rogue deck, instead."

triproberts12, I think you are correct.. I'm going to go with Scorpion God and annoy with infect. Thanks all for the suggestions!

Oh, in that case, if you aren't super set on Rakdos, but are just trying to play RBx, I'd suggest going for a Snapdax, Apex of the Hunt infect deck. Mutating up an Ichorclaw Myr, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon Flesh-Eater Imp, Ogre Menial, Phyrexian Crusader, etc. seems awesome with double strike. Or you can just hardcast Snappy and put a Grafted Exoskeleton or Phyresis on it.
