Tribal EDH Cube

A few of us were talking about a Tribal EDH Cube. A system where people would draft a Commander first and then drafted the Cube as normal.
From what we were talking about, the Cube could run lots of good Legendary. While the Cube would be intended to allow the creation of Tribal decks, inevitably if players are in the same colors they will end up drafting the same cards regardless of Tribe. This could create some interesting gameplay.
What thoughts do you have on this idea? What Commanders would you include? How many Commander choices would you include? How many cards do you think the Cube should have? Do you think that one Commander may just overpower the others?
Note, we are talking about a Cube where budget will NOT be an issue. Most Tribal stuff is cheap anyway.
I agree.
What do you think about Conspiracy? I would consider it a staple but would it give too much of an advantage to the decks running Black? I mean if the entire Cube was intended to be Tribal, would Conspiracy actually put decks without Black behind because it would provide the decks with Black to get Tribal bonuses across everything regardless of creature type?
Or do you think that the inclusion of removal cards will be enough to balance it? Obviously the Cube will include a fair amount of removal for all colors.

okay, I know what you're talking about.
first off, you have the commanders be separate from the cube, like the basic lands to ensure everyone gets what they want.
you should be including all the changelings, Mistform Warchief, Shared Triumph, Steely Resolve, Cover of Darkness, Extinction, Door of Destinies, Obelisk of Urd, Coat of Arms, Peer Pressure, Artificial Evolution, and others.

My gut instinct is to leave it out.
That way a black player can't just take all the good Creature cards and "make" them tribal.
Mana Echoes should go in.

What we were thinking DERPLINGSUPREME was to indeed have the Commanders off to the side.
But to make it more draft like, they could be mixed up, shuffled, and possibly roll a die to see who would draw first.
I'm really still trying to figure out the Commander draft. I want to figure out a way to make it so the other players don't know who your Commander is until the game starts. That would create a more fair drafting experience I believe. Nobody could draft to specifically take what someone else needs. Like you could draft a Lord you don't need/won't use, but what if nobody is even playing that tribe? You won't know until the drafting is done.

In my cube we draft the generals in the actual cube because you can go good stuff or tribal. With this I would definitely draft the commanders first. That way nobody can hate draft, and everybody will get new and varied commanders all the time

I would think you just put your Commander upside down in the Command zone once you have one.
You may look at it at any time, but it isn't turned face up until the game starts or, even better, WHEN YOU FIRST CAST IT!!
Could you imagine ...
