What's Your Favorite Deck?

What's your favorite deck, and why? Personally, my favorite decks are my Kruphix and Sidisi decks. Here's why:

Kruphix: Kruphix, at least for me, embodies the battlecruiser format, while not being a terrible deck. Here's some perfectly normal late-game plays. These can come as early as Turn 5!

  1. Have 1.2605068e+24 mana floating in your mana pool (this actually happened once). This number has a ridiculous amount of numbers, somewhere in the hundreds of thousands of digits. For perspective, 1 billion has 10 digits.
  2. Permanent Insurrection with Mass Manipulation
  3. 6.3025338e+23/6.3025338e+23 Oozes with Gelatinous Genesis. Remember, those numbers have thousands of digits.
  4. All the lands in your deck with Animist's Awakening.
  5. And so much more!

And now, onto my Sidisi deck. This deck is much more competitive, and it runs like a greased wheel. Everything comes together at once for one explosive turn. You'll be reanimating fatties as early as Turn 3, and the deck combines something for everyone.

  • If ya like tokens, Sidisi can pump them out at hilarious rates, creating a zombie army to trample over your opponents!
  • If you enjoy going tall with fatties, Sidisi is a prolific graveyard filler, reanimating big bois like Razaketh, the Foulblooded or Sheoldred, Whispering One left, right, and center!
  • If you like comboing off like a boss, there are some great combos in the deck, one of which I discovered myself. Ping everyone to death with Nooze lines, mill yourself out for value and profit with Hypnotoad + Golgari Guy, or do it better with Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis + Altar of Dementia + Sidisivalue!
  • Here's the deck link: The Deck that Death Forgot [[PRIMER]].

  • BONUS POINTS: If you post a good description of your deck, I'll upvote it.

  • EVEN MORE BONUS POINTS: If you describe a fun game you played with it, I'll comment!

  • WOW, SO MANY BONUS POINTS: Remember, mutual upvotes are appreciated. If you see a deck you like, upvote it! And if you have the time, consider upvoting my deck. I always appreciate it.

Hey man, I love the decks! Your Marwyn, the Nurturer deck looks like a force to be reckoned with! And who doesn't love some 5-mana Eldrazi Titans? Thanks for sharing, liamk585-mtg!

You're welcome! I just updated the description for my Marwyn, the Nurturer deck, so I hope that's helpful.

I think my favorite deck to date is Seizan, Perverter of Truth. Before him, I was known as the resident Johnny, Combo Player in my play group with Yawgmoth, Thran Physician.

I had an Appetite for the Unnatural for Yawgmoth once I learned he as a character existed a few years back; then found EDH, and discovered that the format is extremely fun. Been here ever since. Once he dropped in Modern Horizons, I have never dropped cash on a piece of cardboard in my entire life. Foil Yawg now watches me while I play. My only hope is that I make him happy. lol.

Next favorite was Rishkar, Peema Renegade. I loved +1/+1 counters so much, I built a deck purely around the idea. Actually pretty quick and spooky for a mono green deck with no real strat except: "let me poor all my D6's on this creature. That's how big it is." Makes me giggle every time that a Gyre Sage can tap for far more than any Marwyn, the Nurturer at the table!

Hey man, great decks! I never thought of Rishkar as a viable general, but he seems powerful. Thanks for sharing, SimicVisionRy!

My favorite is either Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer or Ephara, God of the Polis. I like ephara because it's more consistent and benefits off of some cards that aren't good like Zoetic Cavern. I like Brudiclad because it's fun to have hundreds of copies of Goblin Rabblemaster or Utvara Hellkite.

Hey, chirz2792, those decks sound great! Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer always interested me, and Ephara, God of the Polis looks like a card-drawing machine! Thanks for sharing!

@Sultai_Sir: they’re a ton of fun! Brudiclad is definitely one of my more interesting decks and ephara draws a lot of cards.

Update: just made a hilarious Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain commander deck: 0 CMC, Lab Maniac, and Jhoira. Gotta be one of my favorite decks already.

That deck looks great! Jhoira looks incredibly powerful, and artifacts are an amazingly synergistic tribe. Are artifacts a tribe? Well, anyways, thanks for sharing, liamk585-mtg!

My favorite deck I own would have to be Uro, Titan Of Natures Wrath.Honestly I feel I've built the deck differently than others. It's more of a draw deck than anything and not as much as a lands matter as it probably should be.my favorite way to win and I have done this is make a bunch of flying whales and bombard my opponent with damage from them.i have the ugin from 2020 to help with any big armys on the field other than mine and oko to help just in case there are artifacts I cant deal with,as well as God's and planeswalkers from my opponents.honestly I'm not gonna lie there are alot of cards I play that arnt posted anywhere as far as I've been able to find I'm gonna be posting the deck list at some point soon I havnt been able to because my cards are all in another state and have been for 2 months now.gonna be moving in another month and might do it shortly after but I do get that uro is over rated some people believe he should be banned across the board but I do play him for fun not to beat somebody's face in haha.

Sorry for poor grammar never been the best but.....well I've just never been good at it honestly and I've been trying to do better.

Nathan862 Yeah, Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath really is fun. I've been thinking about rebuilding him as soon as I find an interesting new way to build him. I never posted my original deck.

I feel you on that haha honestly you could do a pretty nasty hydra deck with him if made right but I honestly put more sea creatures in mine krakins fish octopus and such though mine is based around protecting my board some some cards I have make people pay more to do stuff to my board or they just cant touch it in general unless they get rid of certain cards but my general thing with my deck is that it is a draw deck and having the biggest hand possible when omnisciounce (may have spelled that wrong) comes on the field then copy some of the big stuff I have like the whales haha but even without that I can general have a big board built of nice creatures rarely quickly in later games (i play casual not to win on turn 2-4)
