Who is the best "I'll use your deck" commander?

I want to make a deck that shifts with my meta. Lots of clones, copies, etc.

Who is the best commander for this between Lazav, Dimir Mastermind and Sen Triplets? (Or anyone Im forgetting)

Sakashima the Impostor is a mono-blue option

I would vote for Sen Triplets. Annoying as hell to play against and gives you access to a third color. Also Sen has no 'Whenever' triggered ability, which takes some more synergy cards to really exploit this trigger. Sen is more straight forward annoying....

I've been working on a Marchesa, the Black Rose deck that has been really effective at stealing control of opponents' creatures. Grave Betrayal, Aura Thief, Puppeteer Clique, and Zealous Conscripts put in a lot of work.

My deck is focused more on combos and abusing Flayer of the Hatebound, but you could easily build a deck that uses a bunch of Clone and Threaten type spells. There are also spells like Praetor's Grasp, Diluvian Primordial, and Wrexial, the Risen Deep for stealing opponents' non-creatue spells.

The Mimeoplasm has good interactions with your opponents' graveyards and it gives you access to green for clone spells like Spitting Image.

(From experience) Sen Triplets will make you a target, but you'll always have unique games. Chromatic Lantern is a must have, and even things like Gilded Lotus are powerhouses

This one guy's Sakashima the Impostor deck has won more than a few times at our lgs Sunday Commander tournies

Absolutely go for more mana sources than most decks. It will almost always be beneficial to cast your general. ~37+ lands and prob 12+ fixers/ramp(?)

For Sen Triplets I highly suggest Leyline of Anticipation and Vedalken Orrery. On their end step are you going to cast sen trip? Maybe not and drop ramp, or counterspells, or Rhystic Study/Phyrexian Arena/Consecrated Sphinx/Sire of Stagnation, etc

I made a sweet Merieke Ri Berit deck that did just that. And it also was a "blink" deck. Just so you know, Conjurer's Closet is a combo with Merieke Ri Berit because the creature you steal with Merieke, you blink it end of turn with Closet and the creature stays yours even if Merieke becomes untapped or dies. Just sayin, it was a lot of fun and was Esper colors so you had endless possibilities to create your own style of play with the deck.

I'd go with lazav. My friend has a Lazav, Dimir Mastermind deck based around this idea and it's pretty strong and one of his favorite decks.

I'd have to say that if you're going to build the deck, The Mimeoplasm seems like one of the stongest commanders. The benefit of him is that it's realtively easy to still run an actual win condition of your own in the deck and there's less chance you'll get hated out compared with something like Sen Triplets. You can look at using cards like the eldrazi processors as well to dump exiled cards back into people's graveyards for re-assimilation.

My two cents on the whole deck idea though? don't. It might seem like a cute idea but decks like this tend to get really old, really quick (in my experience anyway). Your strategy relies on your opponents 1) playing creature heavy decks 2) not running cards like Homeward Path and 3) runing a bunch of bombs (i.e. not a synergy heavy deck). The strategy also tends to piss people off more than a lot of other strategies. And on top of that you chances are you will probably come across players who really don't like other people digging through their decks or handling their cards on a regular basis. There are a lot of players who will feel very uneasy about this, especially if they have some decent money cards.

Lots of really good options here I'd like to toss Dragonlord Silumgar's hat in the ring.

To piggyback on what enpc said, remember to ask before handling opponents cards. And be mindful on how you hold them. We all know "that guy" that bends and mistreat their own cards let alone other players'

I love decks that scale with meta. I run Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge, not so dangerous to be hated out like Triplets and the like, all the right colors for all the clone, copy and opponent graveyard reanimation effects and plays stuff for free with a choice of what to play. Also used to run Thada Adel, Acquisitor, but she is much more limited and sometimes your opponents just don't have enough good artifacts, was still fun though.
