Why isn't Mythos of Snapdax played more?

Mythos of Snapdax is listed at 7% of all decks, which honestly is quite a bit higher than I suspected - merely based on the fact I see practically nobody running it on this site.
But for an incredibly small you can absolutely destroy every opponent's boardstate. Sure yours is hit, too, but you get to pick to keep your best while ensuring they only get to keep their worst.
I don't understand. It lands on curve quite easily, and it's a beautifully flexible wrath that hits not just one type of permanent, but effectively all permanents, lest lands.
Why doesn't every deck that can run it, actually run it? I'd assume it would be a staple. If your deck contains at least Mardu in the identity, it should run Mythos of Snapdax?
If you want to compare it to Wrath of God, for the literal same cost () you destroy even more. Wrath of God hits only creatures, and kills all creatures, but Mythos hits artifacts, enchantments and Planeswalkers as well.
Now the obvious argument is that your opponent will choose to keep their Commander, but this isn't always the case. They will choose their best creature in play, and their best creature may not be their Commander - it may be something much larger, a combo-piece, or something for a setup later.
Personally, I think Mythos is better than Wrath, since Mythos hits multiple permanent types. For example, some players lay very heavy into mana rocks. Mythos blows those up and destroys that player's mana base.
It completely upheaves prison decks, as well as death & taxes, as well as stax.
It takes out Superfriends.
And all while throwing a haymaker at both going wide and going tall.
And Voltron is completely demolished. Your opponent can have spent the entire game building up some God-tier Voltron masterpiece only to have all of their equipment and auras shitcanned. And it doesn't target, so Hexproof / Protection / Shroud won't save your stuff.
So, I am being genuinely honest here. I do not understand why it isn't in basically every single deck that runs at minimum.
its 7% because its "Of All Decks"
out of all decks how many are running ?
Top mardu search shows Mythos of Snapdax at 19%
Now out of the mardu decks how many can consistently met the color demand?
Edgar Markov were in most decks is never ment to leave the command zone Mythos of Snapdax is at almost 0%
Queen Marchesa were most decks are designed to consistently met the color demand to cast the general Mythos of Snapdax is at 23%
hope that helps

I play Alesha. The fail-case of MoS is going to leave a bunch of cards I probably wanted gone hanging around. My deck is particularly vulnerable to a few key things...large resilient blockers and graveyard hate. And those can easily be saved when I'd normally be hoping to eliminate those.
The win-case is clunky and hard for me to cast, especially if I want to do anything else in the turn like use Alesha's ability. At 4 mana, high color intensity, and sorcery speed, it didn't make the cut for my main deck. It's in reserve in case I think I want to give it a try, but for my playgroup, there are more appealing options.

These stats are a useful resource that can help develop and tune decks.
but at the end of the day the only thing they are accurately measuring is a cards popularity
The two biggest factors of how well a card will perform is deck and meta.
Even the highest rated card will be rendered useless in the wrong deck or if used in the wrong play group.

I think Thassa's Oracle is a great example
This card is so powerful that more then half of the turn 0-3 win cons in CEDH depend on it.
yet Opt will out perform it, if you put it in just any deck that is not designed to deck itself
and if your play group got sick of your combos and started consistently running Hushwing Gryff or any other similar effects Hushbringer, Tocatli Honor Guard, Torpor Orb, Overwhelming Splendor (just to name a couple), Well then the win con just became a lost con
i'll stop now, because i don't want to ramble myself into an off topic debate. i'm just trying say that picking cards that function well with your deck and your friends is much more important then any online statistic so when you find a card that you love and works amazing in your games don't let yourself be bothered if online trys to tell you its not that good.

It is also worth noting that EDHRec's information is based on all the decks in their database, including decks individuals have not updated. New cards will always have a much lower deck frequency because so many old decks are not being updated and thus will not include the card.

My favorite thing to do to play on Thoracle wins it Angel's Grace Thassa goes on the stack > then they cast consultation or tainted pact you let it resolve they exile their library then when Thassa's trigger goes back on the stack I cast that Angel Grace with split second bahaha they lose at the next upkeep or if they have to draw.

Well, our friend Tragic Arrogance sits at just one mana higher on the curve, with a much less strenuous color restriction and far cooler lore, so...
