Words of what?

Commander (EDH) forum

Words of Wilding is card I recently came across. Being the wacky EDH Spike I am, I thought it was hilarious. Here's a quick combo: Greater Good + Mana Echoes + Words of Wilding . It's essentially just an ETB/death trigger loop until you add token doublers. I did find that Greater Good can be swapped out for Mentor of the Meek or Dragon Appeasement and Mana Echoes for Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar. Extra mana can be thrown to Essence Depleter or whatever else you want.

Kresh the Bloodbraided comes to mind as the ideal commander to run this in, with Jarad,Golgari Lich Lord/Barrage Tyrant.

What do you guys think you would add to this?

TBH I feel like Prossh would make a better commander. Tokens, sac outlet, makes him have infinite power, etc.

I agre with Prossh, though I see Kresh working as well. Be sure to include a Goblin Bombardment and/or Purphoros, God of the Forge

Words of Wilding would be really good against Nekusar, the Mindrazer decks

Sure you aren't a Johnny? Seems like a Johnny thing to like. Also, I am a fan of the rest of the Words cycle as well.

I agree with Ohthenoises about running Prossh, Skyraider of Kher as your commander, mostly because you aren't actually going to be changing up the way the deck would be built to begin with. Don't forget that you can run Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest.

1empyrean, I'm a Johnny Spike (EDH Spike is an insult my playgroup calls me by). Prossh is great, but I dislike "unoriginal" decks. Meaning I'll pull some obscure legend like Lady Orca for a deck just to avoid using a popular general (unless I'm specifically building around that general).

I have never understood putting strictly worse cards in a deck, why run Rampant Growth when you can run Nature's Lore/Farseek? I mean, sticking to a theme is fine but not running Prossh in a token deck that wants to sacrifice things seems just, silly.

That being said, to each their own.

Ohthenoises, for me, the reason is to be different (&, in Prossh's case, not get hated off the table).

I feel like Dictate of Erebos or Butcher of Malakir are must haves in sac heavy decks, it turns your basic plays into board wipe for everyone else.

You need a Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest for this build.
