A Custom Commander for Angels!

This is my first time doing one of these things, so here's the commander:

Name: Jazrael, Ascended Angel

Mana Cost: 1 W W R R

Text:

Flying, lifelink, haste

Other Angel creatures you control have haste and are indestructible.

Whenever an Angel you control attacks, Jazrael, Ascended Angel deals 1 damage to any target.

Power/Toughness: 2/3

I wanted to do something with Angels, and I noticed that there really is only 1 viable Angel tribal commander: Lyra Dawnbringer . She's very powerful, but I wanted to make something that had another color, to make use of the red angels such as Anya, Merciless Angel , Aurelia, the Warleader , and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight . Please leave some feedback and tell me if it's too overpowered or not! HERE'S THE LINK TO THE ACTUAL CARD: [Link Here]https://mtg.design/i/fawn03

And technically Morophon, the Boundless is as well

Skyler1776 - I just meant creatures with specific abilities towards a certain tribe, and while Morophon does work, I was just thinking of cards beneficial for just Angels.

Where does the Red come into play?

Its own abilities - Flying, Indestructible, and Lifelink - are all White. The abilities it confers are White. The Lifegain effect is White.

The only arguably Red aspect of this card is the fact it has flying--something White does far more often than Red, and which would not be sufficient, on its own, to give the card a Red identity.

I would consider replacing the triggered ability for something more combat focused. You're already conferring lifelink to all your angels, you don't need to have a lifegain trigger on top of that.

The question was not whether Red angels can exist--that's well established in Magic's lore. The question was where the Red comes into your card. You can't just make a card whatever colour(s) you want--each of those colours must be represented in what the card does. Currently, you've designed a mono-White card--if you want a Red/White identity, at least one of its abilities must be Red in nature.

Honestly I'd just replace the "Whenever an angel enters the battlefield" trigger with a Hellrider trigger that only works for angels. Hellrider is one of the coolest cards ever printed after all.

Falcoshin - I like your idea. I'll change it to that!

TypicalTimmy - Thanks for all the feedback dude! I Think your ideas are great, but I'm just gonna go with Falcoshin's idea, to keep most of the original card while adding that Boros flair.

Caerwyn - Thanks for the suggestions! I didn't really consider the red abilities, my mistake lol. I'm going with Falcoshin's idea here, just add a basic attack trigger to keep it worthy of red and white.

Thank you all for the feedback and suggestions! I'm kind of overwhelmed to be honest, it's the first time I've tried to do something like this. If i missed something major please tell me.

This is actually a very peculiar suggestion for an Angel commander. It's for a rather small creature that grants some very powerful abilities to other angels and benefits whenever you attack with other angels by pinging from the back lines. Haste is very powerful on a good handful of angels and giving them indestructible also makes it very difficult to deal with them. On a Commander that combination could be very cumbersome to face.

In general you don't want to actually attack with this one, as it is small and vulnerable and all benefits are granted through other angels. In a traditional sense it doesn't seem like a forefront for your angels but rather an extremely powerful enabler for your other angels. This is not a typical Boros setup - which can be both good and bad.

Also this Angel is extremely tribal and I get that that is what you want to make, but in general it is much more beneficial and rewarding to make a broader Commander that just so happens to function very well for Angel tribal.

I do think your suggestion is very synergistic for Angel tribal. I think the combination of haste and indestructible anthems might be a bit too much on a relatively cheap Commander, even though the creature itself is weak. I also think there's a slight flavor fail for a Boros angel to basically not be able to fight on the front lines.

Not to subtract from your suggestion but merely to pitch my own take on such a Commander;
