King's Gaurd

2WW

Creature - Knight

When King's Gaurd etb you may search your library for a knight card, reveal it and then put it in your hand. Then, shuffle your library.

1W, sacrifice King's Gaurd: All Knight creatures you control get +2/+2 and gain trample and haste until end of turn.

When King's Gaurd is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, remove it from the game and draw cards equal to its power as it died.

1/4

I like it this way or maybe set its cmc at 3, make it a 3/3 and have it be legendary, thoughts?

It's probably just me, but given each color's characteristics I think the sacrifice abilities make more sense being something like

1G, sacrifice King's Gaurd: All Knight creatures you control get +2/+2 and gain trample until end of turn

and/or

1R, sacrifice King's Gaurd: All Knight creatures you control get +2/+0 and gain haste until end of turn

Perhaps have the knight itself a multicolored creature.

Made this with my mono white knight deck in mind and so I want to keep it mono colored. I did play around with which abilities and extra p/t to give, if I was to take something away it'd be the haste.. and maybe not give the toughness a boost.

So

1w, sacrifice ~, all knight creatures you control get +2/+0 and gain trample until emd of turn.

Does that seem any better?

White isn't really one of the "trample colors." If it was a higher cost and sac, you might be able to make it so Knights you control get +x/+y (y would probably be higher or equal, given the nature of white) and protection from a color of your choice until end of turn. Maybe [2][W][W][W] and sac for +2/+2. Then it's sorta like Ezuri, Renegade Leader.

Also, and I hate to be this guy, but it's Guard.

The only thing that throws me off is that trample/haste aren't usually a white skill. I could see this creature existing as a mono white having it give first strike, double strike or lifelink before I could see it giving trample or haste.

Again that could just be me as I am not too familiar with hasty white creatures.

No, you're right, haste and trample do not fall under White's purview of evergreen mechanics. This isn't to say white cards can't have these, but those are generally very special cases.

True and I am aware of what usually or is supposed to be attributed to what colors but that is a reason why I put it on here. Moorish Cavalry just doesn't cut it and I'd love to be able to give my white knights some trample. Nothing is impossible but I highly doubt it'd ever actually happen, that's why I'm stuck to making custom cards on here. Thanks for the input either way :)

and lol to the spelling thing.. it's np, I'm the same way but for some reason have those certain words that just get by me. Thanks again

So, it's a tutor, a potentially game-winning anthem, and a powerful draw engine... all attached to a bolt-proof body. I think that if you removed the drawing clause, it could definitely work. As is, it seems like it does too much at once.

King's Guard

2WW

Legendary Creature - Knight

When King's Guard etb you may search your library for a knight card with cmc 2 or less and reveal that card. Shuffle your library and then put that card on top of it.

1WW, sacrifice King's Guard: Knight creatures you control get +2/+0 and gain trample until end of turn.

Whenever King's Guard is sacrificed, exile any number of other knight creatures you control and then draw a card for each knight exiled this way.

2/4

Maybe a little better now?
