A new RB walker?

An upgrade to Sarkhan the Mad.
So, here's my card,
Sarkhan, Focused on Revenge Show
What do you think? I feel like it's in the verge of being broken?

The -X ability doesn't make any sense. You can't activate planeswalker abilities during combat. Pre-combat there are no attacking creatures and post-combat the tokens are useless. Better off just making it:
-X Put X 1/1 black and red Elemental tokens with haste onto the battlefield. Exile them at the beginning of your next end step.
Also the -10 ability doesn't seem very it's more of a ability.

I love the +2, but as said above the -X doesn't make sense and the -10 doesn't feel like black-red.
The -X would be fine without the "where X is..." part.
How about something like an Act of Treason emblem for the ultimate? It would fit the revenge theme.
-10: You get an emblem with "Whenever a creature an opponent controls deals combat damage to you, you may pay . If you do, gain control of that creature until your next end step."

Agree with above. +2 seems fine for a 6 drop. -x is not currently usable, just drop the attacking creatures clause. ult seems off point. you could make it 'you get an emblem with "whenever a creature you control dies, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature or player"' or something along those lines. very revenge themed.

...So, a Sarkhan planeswalker that has nothing to do with dragons.

Fail.

Hey KillDatBUG he is "Focused on Revenge" lol
Dragons? Ain't nobody got time for dat

+2 is perfect.
-x can be exactly what people said, but flavor wise is say 0/1 dragon hatchling tokens with: : this creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
-10 feels as people said. What about "you get an emblem with: whenever an opponent casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets you or a permanent you control, Sarkhan FoR deals 3 damage to that opponent"
Very powerful...too much?

Onion_duck, aholder7, ducttapedeckbox: what do you think of the changes? I dropped the "that are attacking this combat" clause on the -X, and modified the -10.

I agree that -X should involve dragons in some way, rather than Elementals.

I was thinking elemental due to Lightning Elemental, but now I like demons/devils. Dragons with built in Firebreathing seem too OP for this.

I don't think he should force you to take off a certain number of loyalty counters if you can't pick the number. Cause if you have a lot of creatures, now he has two ultimates, which makes him basically only have one ability.
Have you thought about using a different character other than sarkhan?
April 29, 2016 2:23 p.m.
Tokens with firebreathing are balanced by your own mana. You are already restricted because it has to be 2 colors. Also, outside of EDH that may not be an issue at all.
April 29, 2016 2:27 p.m.
Yeah, I think i'll throw out the "where X is the number of creatures you control" clause.
and, NO TIBALT IS NOT RUINING THIS AWESOME CARD! lol

That's what I originally misread the card at the first comment lol

The new -10 is solid aside from your not attacking with these creatures. Do you want them just to block?it seems like a useless emblem in a lot of cases. Emblems are usually meant to close a game out. What if you got an emblem that: "during each of your pre combat steps you may choose target creature an opponent controls. You gain control of that creature until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste"
This would be cool to abuse with Aurelia, the Warleader

Honestly, the trigger would make more sense stealing at the "beginning of each combat", that way you can block with stuff too, and cards like Fury of the Horde synergize with it as well.

Love it as it is right now. At first I thought the -10 was a bit absurd but it isn't anymore broken then Narset Transcendent's.

Yeah, I originally thought I went a little too powerful, but now he seems to not look too broken. He would be fun to play in a commander shell.

Seems very solid :) definitely a fun card for EDH/Commander
