Altan Life-Weaver (U)(U)(G)(G)+1 Add X Mana to your manapool. Where X is equal. to target creatures converted mana cost.-3 Draw X Cards. Where X is equal to target creatures converted mana cost.-5 Put an emblem into play the reads "When you tap a permenate that you controll you may have Target Creature gain a +1 +1 counter.
[3] Loyalty to start with.
That is a CRAZY +1. It should really be a minus ability.

Yeah, that +1 is broken. Maybe...
UUGG
+1: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool, then put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.
-3: Remove all +1/+1 counters on target creature. You draw X cards equal to the number of +1/+1 counters removed this way.
-7: You get an emblem that has "Whenever a creatures enters the battlefield under your control, put two +1/+1 counters on target creature you control.
Will that do it?

I personally think that's a lot more balanced and it fits perfectly into 's counters theme.

Thank you VampireArmy. Well as the wording suggests it is colorless mana. and sure you can ramp into him on turn 2-3 At that point not much is being played with a high cinverted mana cost. His weak body makes him squishy. Though he would be nice for late game as a drop and sac for the card draw. I veiw him in a RUG deck with Fireballs.

I do like your suggestion. Though ever since Return to Ravnica Simic really cast UG into a mold of counter based madness. I enjoy UG because theamaticly you can do so much with them.

The +1 could be changed to something like "Add X mana of any one color to your mana pool, where X is the lowest converted mana cost among creatures you control." or "...among creatures on the battlefield." That's still strong, but not as strong.

I like that. Even if it is a llanowar elf you are getting a mana. Perhaps add x. mana of any one color equal to the lowest toughness of creatures you controll?

I used to really like Simic as well. Except it got too linear for my liking. I modeled the +1 after Sarkhan Unbroken. The minus ability from Give / Take, and the ult is based off of yours.
I forgot to put starting loyalty. It should start at 3 loyalty.

Simic is lovely in my oppinion, I just feel they could have done more. I personally like to use new and old simic cards together. They synergise nicely.

It's actually pretty great. The + is obviously strong, but doesn't actually do anything unless you've already got some monster, which means you probably also have some ramp. The - is decent, and the ult I actually find to be a tince bit underwhelming. If you have nothing to play, it does nothing.

The ultimate is more of a utility. notice it says when you tap a permenate you controll. you tap for lands. you tap for tap effects. you tap to attack. Its a mutable stratagy. neither offensive or defencive.

You still get counters. Its not a wase. besides with Vorel of the Hull-Clade and kiora's followers.... lol

It's definitely not a waste, but an emblem should be relevant at all times during the game.

It is in my opinion. The counters are long lasting and don't go away if the emblem is blown up. Early game it pumps you up. Late game it gives you a way to utilize your unused lands and even if you are running controll for each land you tap to play your counter your meat sheild grows stronger. if you have red in the deck you are rewarded for blowing things up. if white then you get even more buffs. if black you have a lovely way to add insult to injury by bolstering your forces and casting blights upon your enemies let alone corpsejack menace.

See, but that's the problem. There is no "early game" with ults. Unless you have a drain, the ult won't make a difference because you likely won't have cards in your hand. Kiora's ability makes a difference late game. Not yours.

Maybe the ult being something like this: Whenever a creature with a +1 +1 counter on it attacks, or leaves play, draw a card.

Kiora is a great card. Not trying to rival that kraken slinging fish monger. Altan gives benifits for the patient. if you run any unblockables at all, or fliers. or you need toughness for a block. Any UG deck should have a decent draw mechanic to fuel your contradictary madness. In those colors its hard to run out of resources, and if you do you can manipulate what you have. thus the soul if you will of his ult.

No, I totally agree with keeping the counter theme, but you need something more overwhelming. What you have is conditional, which should not happen. Another example: Elspeth makes everything indestructible. That makes a huge difference in the game.
