Anyone know anything about foreign cards?
Custom Cards forum

Recently made a bunch of custom planes to fit into my play groups planechase planar library, but the problem is we always know when the custom planes are coming up because their backs are all white! To help mitigate this, I have created about 12 custom planes as opposed to the old 3 but that is not good enough! I want to glue them onto REAL planechase backs. The planechase cards are, of course, expensive though... and tons of fun that I wouldn't want to rob anyone of by purchasing one of the few remaining sets and gluing shit on them. SO.
If I buy a Japanese version of the set, will the backs of the cards look the same as their English counterparts? I know literally nothing about cards in other countries. Do they say magic? or Majikku? or ? I just need the backs to look the same!
I don't know where to buy sleeves large enough to fit the planar cards, but that would be extremely helpful because the custom ones I made are already all scratched up after two months of use. Which makes me wonder how long the real ones will last!

Ultra Pro has some oversized sleeves designed for planechase. I'd recommend looking into getting some of those.

You can buy oversized commanders, which are the same size but way cheaper.

Your logic: I dont want to buy any of the few remaining sets because I dont want to ruin anyone elses fun. But only if they speak English, I don't mind buying one of the few remaining sets in Japanese so one less Japanese speaker gets to have fun.
I laughed.
But seriously, look into the UltraPro oversized sleeves.

You can also use archenemy cards. The common ones only run you about 50 cents each

CastleSiege lmfao guilty as charged. Sorry Japanese people for my logic flaws!
ChiefBell Just bought those, thanks! Problem solved! I never saw any options on my usual sites for oversized sleeves, thanks a ton!

Yes they're the same backs. Though foreign cards are normally more expensive than english.
It appears as if the plane cards are all in english.
Do you know what you could do though?
Design your custom cards and print them out on paper. Then put the paper customs in front of real mtg cards. If you put them in sleeves you can't tell the difference.
