What would the implications of exiling an opponent be?

I guess so. I made the card really ambiguous as to it's meaning, so do whatever you want!

You can't exile a player lol. A player isn't in any zone and thus can't switch zones.
If anything you could do a spell like this that makes it so target opponent can't cast spells, use abilities, or draw cards until their next upkeep. Not sure on the instant part though... you'd cast in on their upkeep and totally hose a mofo. It'd probably need to be a sorcery just like extra turn spells.

I mainly made this card as a joke.
It would be funny if you could actually exile your opponent.

Woah. I just made a card as a joke, then it somehow escalated to this.
I'm just going to ask the mods to delete this thread.

Assuming arguendo this was a real card, it would certainty be an un-set card. In such a case, the rules are pretty much out the window with regards to what can and cannot be done. Usually unsets have humorous (or attempts at humor) flavor text explaining away any rules contradictions such as "but players can't change zones!"
You'd probably want to do something where that player, everything they own, etc. all leave the game, so they can't be interacted with. The reminder text would clarify all items go back to the zone they were previously in when that player is returned to the game. I'd also make it clear that the player can't loose the game when exiled--otherwise that's fairly dull.
That said, the effect is too limited--Unsets really need to ramp up the fun! For example, you could do an aftermath card or something, that's Banhammer / Reconsideration--something that brings the player back into the game with some sort of silly caveat.

Could I play him from exile like a creature with an adventure? Sorry, this two-headed giant game just became a 3 on 1 attack
