As far as abilities go, I feel like Batman would be able to pull any kind of equipment from his utility belt. Maybe have it be "
: Search your library and hand for an equipment card and put it onto the battlefield. Shuffle your library. You may attach it to target creature you control." This would be very powerful, I will admit, but because of pro black, he can't target himself.

Why not Esper? He is very intelligent and it would fit artifacts better than Orzhov.

and have it search for an equipment with CMC X or less. If you do make him Esper, add 
to that cost.

Protection from Black and from Red seems more sensible. He has a flame-retardent suit/cape and probably has something to make him immune to electricity from dealing with Maxie Zeus all the time.
I would suggest double strike but that's too much. Maybe first strike? I suppose it doesn't really matter with the equipment thing.
