Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.

Variety XX

Sorcery

If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.

Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

Basically, this is a cool card for a bunch of land-matters and discard-matters decks which are kind of hard to build on cube. It works well with cards like Fauna Shaman and Cryptbreaker or Retrace cards like Raven's Crime. I just want to draft a reliable deck around Squee, Goblin Nabob.


Forgotten Frontier

Land

At the beginning of your upkeep, return Forgotten Frontier to its owner's hand.
At the beginning of your upkeep, return Forgotten Frontier from your graveyard to your hand.
: add to your mana pool.


Keeping up the cube talk, make another card that encourages blue decks to go wide, (like Opposition and Bident of Thassa do).

Tap an untapped creature you control. That creature does not untap during your next untap step: Counter target spell unless its controller pays .


Make a red card that encourages a non-aggro strategy in red (control, combo, midrange, whatever)

Psychcic Backlash

Sorcery

Target opponent reveals his or her hand. Psychic Backlash deals damage to that player equal to the number of nonland cards in his or her hand. Then each player discards their hand and draws cards equal to the amount of damage Psychic Backlash dealt.

Whenever a player looses the game target player exiles the top card of their library, you may have that player repeat that process any number of time, you may cast the last card exiled in this way. That player shuffles thier library.

When ~ enters the battlefield and at the beginning of each upkeep, choose prophecy or revelation.

As long as the last chosen word was prophecy, whenever you scry, deal that much damage to target creature or player.

As long as the last chosen word was revelation, whenever you cast a spell, scry X where X is that spell's converted mana cost.

Seasons Come

Enchantment

Winter - Whenever a snow permanent enters the battlefield, put a -1/-1 counter on each Plant creature.

Spring - Whenever an Island enters the battlefield, each player creates a 0/1 green Plant creature token.

Summer - Whenever a Plains enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on each Plant creature.

Autumn - Whenever a Plant creature dies, its controller creates a red enchantment token named Fallen Leaf with "Whenever a Plant creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may sacrifice this token. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.".


My submission for the aforementioned challenge. If I win, the next card should be a card that flavorfully represents the ocean's tides in a unique way.

Seasons Passing

Enchantment

Suspend 4

When you remove a time counter from Seasons Passing if Seasons Passing has:

  • 3 time counters on it, create 4 1/1 white bird tokens and 3 1/1 green squirrel tokens.

  • 2 time counters on it, draw a card for each creature you control, you may put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield.

  • 1 time counter on it, destroy up to two target creatures you gain life equal to thier combined toughness.

Permanents you control dont untap during thier owners untap step.
