Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.
Variety XX
Sorcery
If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.
Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

A person stands alone against several zombies, wearing a Helm-O-Lantern, only the face shows intense determination. In one hand is a hatchet, fresh from decapitating of a zombie. In the other hand is a sword impaling another zombie. Beams of fire come from Helm-O-Lantern's eyes, burning yet another zombie. Burning body parts litter the ground.

"Overwhelming" is just a number.
Fusion of Consume Strength and Infest.
Let's make a little story out of these. Assuming that Sam's the one killing the zombies here, make a card with art that shows zombies about to ambush or surround a wary but unprepared Sam.

The difference between "prepared" and "dead" is often just a question of bigger numbers.

They are Spirits from Bloomburrow who's very presence changes the seasons and causes widespread change (and often time destruction) by merely moving throughout the realm.
No color restrictions this time. Although if you feel extra spicy, go colorless.

Any lands that were already snow lands before this ability resolves cannot be activated for mana until Colgekia, Herald of Winter leaves the battlefield.
If each of your opponents control 10 or more snow lands, you may cast any number of spells equal to the number of opponents you have without paying their mana costs.

I made the door then I saw the challenge was to acc make a character. It's funny though how in a way if the doors existed in mtg lore bolas would've thought it was one of the most overpowered things in the multiverse. and monsters just use them to scare kids.
next challenge:
Either: Create a creature based on what would happen if you took a Chicago or London gangster rapper and dropped them into an mtg plane. Because the idea of someone like lil jeff having to talk to an Edgewall Innkeeper
or a slightly more normal challenge: make money as an artefact

There is no afterlife for you... Do you accept the money?

griffstick accept the money, and wait. Inevitably a snail will approach you. Put it into a small glass jar and seal the lid. Keep the snail with you at all times. If it can't escape the jar, it can't touch you. And if it can't touch you, you won't die to it.

Fun Fact:
The Crypt Keeper from Tails From the Crypt use to give me nightmares as a child. The episodes with zombies, werewolves, ghosts, vampires, demons, skeletons etc I was fine with.

I use to actually cover my eyes and face and hide whenever he came back into screen.
And I had watched Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th and Halloween and Aliens and Mars Attack and Robocop (jfc Robocop went hard...) and was just fine

I don't have the time or the energy for it, but in the event anyone is stumped for the Saga, a great idea would be American Horror Story from Netflix.
This is because, as a series, each season portrayed a different story. This would make a Saga, with their story chapters, much easier to accomplish as you can follow the natural progression of the entire season you selected.
This is in contrast to shows such as Are You Afraid of the Dark, in which each episode was its own "miniseries" of a few stories or a single one, but overall there wasn't a cohesive plot to attribute a Saga to.

: Tap up to two target creatures you control, then put two +1/+1 counters on them.
: Creatures with one or more +1/+1 counters on them that you control gain Vigilance and Lifelink until end of turn.
: You get an emblem with "Whenever a non-token creature you control dies, you may exile it instead. If you do, create a token copy of it, then put two +1/+1 counters on it."
Based on the episode San Junipero from the sci-fi/thriller anthology series Black Mirror. I hope that counts as a horror, some of the episodes are quite scary.
I don't want to explain too much about the mechanics of this card in relation to the story because I don't want to spoil the twist if you haven't seen this episode. Check it out for yourself!
For your next challenge, you have options:
Repeat this challenge (Create a Saga based on your favorite episode of a horror anthology television series. Examples of shows include, but are not limited to, "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?", "Goosebumps", "Masters of Horror" and "Tales From The Crypt".)
OR
Turn your favorite horror icon into a card (Freddy Kruger, Pennywise, Mike Myers, Frankenstein's monster, etc. )

Last night during our DCC (Dungeon Crawl Classics) game, I stumbled upon something simply known as "Chaos Armor That Hasn't Been Found"
In DCC you begin with five or six Level 0 characters, each with no magical or special abilities and only 3 to 4 HP. You go through a Funnel which is a dungeoncrawl designed to kill as many of them as possible. Whomever survives is your character.
Usually you get some type of magical artifact, but in the last Funnel (which I was not apart of) nobody discovered the Chaos Armor
Well, last night I found it on the body of a dead pirate
As of now, I was not told what it is or what it does. My DM simply grinned and said that I'll have to wait until next session to find out.

I've issued it several times but I always like to see what ideas people can come up with.
Take your favorite Planeswalker and make them a flipwalked card (Creature into a Planeswalker), even if they already have one.
And since they're your favorite, go ahead and design with 4 abilities if you think it could reasonably fit on a card.

If this were printed as written, Angrath just accidentally became horrendously broken.
- +3 As an additional cost, exile a card.
Um, exile it from WHERE??
Your hand? Battlefield? Graveyard? LIBRARY??
Without specifying, it's technically dealers choice. That means you could go fishing for whatever you want, wherever you want.
So yeah, let's add on "from your hand" and fix that little problem.

Whenever ~ attacks, reveal the top card of your library. If it's a creature, ~ gets +X/+0 until the next End Phase, where X is the revealed creature's power. If the revealed creature has haste, mentor, or battalion, put that card into your hand and ~ deals 2 damage to any target.

A dragon from the Izzet League that left the Izzet to join the Boros. Do the same, but for a different set of guilds. Keep it non-legendary, though.
