Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.

Variety XX

Sorcery

If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.

Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

Another spell that would pair ridiculously with this.

A card that pairs with Horses and Allies in GW.

Calvary's Charge

Enchantment

Attacking allies you control get +1/+1 for each attacking horse you control.


The card would have to be placed into a setting where horses are a prominent tribe to use, otherwise the enchantment really kind of doesn't do anything.

Currently the only world that allies are prominent enough in is Zendikar, who doesn't really have horses.

So this would probably be needed for some other setting such as Thunder Junction if we ever return there.

Or Tarkir, if allies can be used over warriors.


Make a card that creates a legendary token of any kind.

Not a copy token of itself or something else, please. But a unique token.

When Undeniable Evidence enters the battlefield, create create Vixis, the Undeniable, a legendary 0/0 blue and green Fractal creature token with flying, trample, and 'When this creature dies, create a token that's a copy of it and put X +1/+1 counters on it, where X is this creature's power.'

When a Fractal you control enters, put two +1/+1 counters on it.


Create a legendary that you wish would've existed in Duskmourn, but didn't.

Remember, Alpha and Beta were still prior to power creep. Back then unless you had another flyer, or a bolt, you had no way to stop it. So a 1/1 for 3 was not that bad. This would have also been prior to the playset rule, where you could only have 4 nonbasic cards in a deck at a time. So you could run 20 Morning Doves, if you wanted.

Your goal would be to play more doves than your opponent has removal, and win based on 1/1 flyers that you could easily pump with spells such as Blessing and Giant Growth


Ninja, but same challenge so mine is acceptable still.

Based on the rules loosely outlined for Battles;

  • They do not have to be Sieges
  • They do not necessarily have to transform
  • Future Battles may require the owner to protect them, unlike Battles where they enter under an opponents control
  • The defense counters are the ones that indicate how much damage it has taken

Awaken the Clans

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a defense counter on Awaken the Clans. When it has 7 or more defense counters, transform it.


Borborygmos, City-Breaker

Legendary Creature - Cyclops Barbarian

Trample, triple strike, haste, ward

When Borborygmos enters the battlefield, destroy up to one target permanent of each type that each opponent controls.

Whenever Borborygmus attacks, flip three coins. For each heads, destroy target permanent the defending player controls.

So the idea is, the Defense battles steadily grow in their defense counters, and it is up to you to protect them

Once they reach a set value, they transform into something insanely powerful - be it a creature, Planeswalker, a sorcery you cast without paying its mana cost, maybe an stupidly potent land - like one that taps to add mana equal to the number of cards in your graveyard, etc

The harder it is to reach that threshold, the more powerful it should be. Mine took 7 mana and at minimum 4 turns (cast, +3 more). And you have to defend it the entire time as well. If it takes damage, that's even longer you have to wait as it grows. Assuming you don't have any Doubling Season effects in tandem going on...

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, they may create a 1/1 Eldrazi Scion Creature Token, or a 2/2 White Kor Ally Creature token.

Ally and Eldrazi creatures gain unblockable as long as ~ has 1 Battle Counter on it.

Whenever ~ has 5 or more Battle Counters on it, you may sacrifice it. If you do, search your library for X Ally Creatures and put them onto the battlefield, where X is the number of Ally creatures you control. Exile all Eldrazi your opponents control.

When the last Battle Counter is removed from ~, each opponent may search your library for a creature and put it onto the battlefield under their control. It becomes a Colorless Eldrazi creature in addition to its other colors and types.


Continue, or create another variant of battles!

StarRushford skirmishes enter under your opponents control, and have ways to remove defense counters from it. I prefer it flipping into an instant or sorcery. Flipping into lands feels too much like lci.

Can I name a non-legend that feels like a legend from legends? Ali from Cairo

Bookrook oh sorry I guess I misread it. I had also said "Create a new legend that should've been in Legends."

I finally figured out how to do symbols! Also, I have no idea how to make a balanced Planeswalker lol.

Uleg, Twister of Nature

Planeswalker - Uleg

+1 Destroy target enchantment. If you controlled it, add or equal to it its mana value to your mana pool.

-2 Destroy two target enchantments. For each enchantment destroyed this way, if you controlled it, search your library for an enchantment card and put it into your hand.

-7 Destroy all enchantments, then return each enchantment card not put into the graveyard this way onto the battlefield under your control.
