So.... You can organize your next 10 turns and draw a single card for..... 12 mana? WTF?

This seems really UP..... At 12 mana, you should instantly win the game (almost)....

Even worse it's 15 cmc

tyforthevenom says... #5

i meant BBUURR6 and you organise your entire deck draw order but the weakness being your opponent knows the next 10 cards

September 26, 2014 7:31 a.m.

tyforthevenom says... #6

basically a commander card that says "my deck will give me the perfect draw order"

September 26, 2014 7:33 a.m.

graft says... #7

Needs something for your opponent to do for the 20 minutes that you spend resolving it.

tyforthevenom says... #8

how about "during resolution opponents play dungeons and dragons"

September 26, 2014 8:02 a.m.

graft says... #9

"During resolution of Grand Scheme, all opponents may to cut their tether to this mortal coil by any means they see fit."

Lol, opponents may play a second game using their library and drawing a new hand while grand scheme is being resolved. Shuffle all cards used for the new game back into your library when complete

Well... Enter the Infinite costs 12 mana, and will let you draw your whole libary.... Seems a little bit better. And is only blue...! :D

MagicalHacker says... #12

Yeah, as NorthernRaven mentioned, you should really look to balance this as compared to Enter the Infinite .

Also the color identity if this card is just blue, not red or black

mowservision says... #14

So I'm guessing this would be a common?

September 26, 2014 3:31 p.m.

tyforthevenom says... #15

I was thinking of this as a card that thematically is entered into a set as finding out bolas' plan

September 26, 2014 3:43 p.m.

mowservision says... #16

Ah. It just looks a quite underpowered. The mana cost makes it nearly unplayable, your opponent does know what card you cantrip for, and they know the next 9 draws.

lothshteth says... #17

I would say just make it and have it say "put the rest on the bottom in a random order."

Or it could be a multiple-card tutor, like Diabolic Revelation . Not an X tutor, but a set amount. Would still make sense thematically and flavorwise, while giving it a chance to become a bamf card.

Given the colors, perhaps the opponent should be given a choice, like Liliana of the Veil 's ultimate ability.

Perhaps you can split all cards in your deck into two piles. One pile goes back to your library, the other pile becomes your hand.

September 29, 2014 5:22 p.m.

lothshteth says... #20

That slows the game down even more than put on the bottom in any order.

September 29, 2014 6:46 p.m.

tyforthevenom says... #21

maybe "reveal top 15 cards of your library and put them on top of your library in any order, you gain an emblem with "you have no maximum hand size, play with top card of your library revealed, draw 2 extra cards each draw step" shuffle your graveyard back into your library"

September 29, 2014 8:08 p.m.

Nomp says... #22

Should just say "Scry 10, then draw 5 cards, reveal your hand and target opponent may pay X to discard X cards from your hand" and then just make it cost BBUURR. You most likely will get exactly what you want and it has a downside to help balance it out.

lothshteth says... #23

That shuffle effect will undo the top 15 card sorting. I think you are trying to do too much with this card. What exactly do you want to accomplish? I understand the Bolas idea, but what area mechanically are you trying to delve into?

September 30, 2014 6:04 p.m.

tyforthevenom says... #24

just a mistake in the wording wasn't sure how i could word it so the 15 cards would be on top

September 30, 2014 6:16 p.m.

tyforthevenom says... #25

lothshteth basically the card is "i'm setting up my plan and putting it into action" so deck manipulation deck acceleration and i thought gy shuffle for a black mechanic

MagicalHacker says... #26

How about this:

Grand Scheme

Enchantment

When ~ enters the battlefield, search your library and exile any number of cards in any order, then shuffle your library.

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may cast the top card exiled with ~ without paying it's mana cost.

MagicalHacker - So you're new take on the card a more expensive, more vulnerable, Doomsday ? Then again, Doomsday is super busted, so this one MIGHT be fairly costed. It is still open to abuse via Show and Tell or Omniscience , so idk if it's viable that way either.
