These are some designs I've been working on for awhile. I would like to get them balanced so I can put them in my Cube without too much explaining.
Outcast Priest
Creature - Human Cleric
Whenever another creature dies, you may pay . If you do, exile that creature and its controller sacrifices another creature, then return the exiled creature to the battlefield under its owner's control.

Basically, sacrifice a life for a life. 'Deal with the devil' kind of mechanic.
Towertree Watcher
Creature - Elf Shaman.
Landcrash - Whenever a land enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, put a +1/+1 counter on CARDNAME.

I swear this mechanic was being tested before Sire of Stagnation was announced.
Anyway, thoughts? Anything I missed in the wording that would make weird rule interactions?

Exile because if they don't sac a creature, the other one doesn't come back.

Ah OK, but legally "then" means, proceed in this order with no dependencies . You need an "if" .

Right. Thanks. It's been awhile since I've had a chance to look at it.

Like the top mechanic, however the sacrifice should be a cost not an effect, less easy to abuse.
If you don't have a creature to sacrifice, you don't have to and other effects still apply.
Eg:The owner sacrifices a creature, if they do...Also why exile?
