Provoke

Karluck deals combat damage before all other creatures.

Karluck attacks each turn if able.

So its "hyper" first strike where you deal damage befor first strike?

I would maybe make it an 0/3 with "Whenever Karluck becomes blocked, it deals 4 damage divided among creatures blocking it." An easy way of accomplishing this effect, without the confusion of adding an additional damage step, or however else you may've intended it to work.

Perhaps, but as an 0/3, there's no incentive to block it.
