This all started with one fairly straightforward idea: I want to brew commanders that match the personalities of my friends and I. Of course, it progressed from there.
This thread works quite a bit like the card creation challenge, but instead of putting, for example "red spell that can target enchantments" as a prompt for the next card, you could but "Chip Chapley, male, enjoys nature hikes, jogging, physical fitness, and voice acting." The next person would build a card for Chip, and at the bottom of their post, they give a suggestion for their character. Not news to anyone following this forum.
Note that these characters can be based on actual people, they can be be concepts for characters in the game, they can be preexisting fictional characters, whatever you want.
And so, for your first challenge- a card for Tracer from Overwatch. She's a lovely little lesbian glass cannon who is incredibly evasive due to her ability to change her position in time.

When ~ enters the battlefield, return a creature an opponent controls to their owner's hand.
Whenever an opponent targets ~ with a spell or ability, suspend ~ with three time counters on it.

I used suspend for this due to Tracer's ability to disappear through time-related abilities. In addition, her tendency to be a glass cannon is why she disappears for longer with a protective ability.

: Target nonequipment, noncreature artifact becomes a equipment until end of turn with "Equip X" and "Equipped creature gets +X/+X until end of turn.
: Equip an equipment you control at random to ~.
, sacrifice an equipment attached to ~: ~ becomes indestructible until end of turn.

Target creature fights another target creature you don't control. If that creature survives combat damage, put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
Creatures with +1/+1 counters on them are snow.
Susan, Tundra Guardian's power and toughness are each equal to the number of snow permanents on the battlefield plus 4.

Create Irrilen, a Ravnican walker who, upon seeing the destruction that Bolas wrought, seeks to stop such a thing from ever happening again. She takes it upon herself to rid the multiverse of planeswalkers she deems a threat to other planes and to the common good. She can transmute objects she touches, and carries around two small blocks of a light metallic ore that she can change into whatever material and/or shape she sees fit. She is a good person who values the good of others as a whole above her own wellbeing. She can get tunnel vision sometimes but usually it's not so bad.

-2 Destroy target nonland permanent, then put a loyalty counter on Irrilen for each counter on that permanent.
-6 Draw 4 cards, then you may put any number of artifacts from your hand onto the battlefield, then you gain three life for each artifact you control.
-9 You get an emblem with "Whenever a spell or ability you control targets a permanent, you may have the owner of that permanent sacrifice that permanent."
Create Sessetations, an oracle of waves and repeated words.

Activated abilities can't be activated. Triggered abilities don't trigger.
If a creature becomes the target of a spell or ability, copy that spell for each creature it can target. Each copy targets a different one of those creatures.

Ahura Mazda is the Zoroastian (ancient persian) god.
